Best Hair Gel

I buy hair glue. That's a lot more stiff than you're looking for, but it will hold any length of hair.
i use paul mitchel extreme thickening glue on the front where its stubborn and american crew spray gel on the rest.

Found new gel that I like alot.. VIVE for men.. in drugstore.. thicking gel or something.. Works good though

Are any of these good on hold while not leaving your hair dry and brittle at the end of the day like gel can?

Using the gel I recomment (Alt. by L'Oreal), put it in with your hair wet and brush. Then 20 minutes later when it's dry, you can run your fingers through to break it up a bit and you might get the effect you want.

The dry wax I mentioned will not leave your hair brittle at all.

Just "waxy" not greasy though.

Also the shit is a pain in the ass to get out of your hair. Seems water proof.

This isn't gel, but I use Sebastian X-tah clay first, then a small amount of either their shaping cream, or sometimes a crystal wax for more shine. Then sometimes I apply finishing spray, it just depends on how I'm styling my hair that night. No, I'm not gay; this is what happens when one of the best stylists in the state (maybe even midwest) is a good friend.

Nexxus, Paul Mitchell, **Biolage (my favorite)

short hair (something different & less costly) try

"Pinaud Clubman hair gel" (green or yellow)
barber grade stuff. Good stuff.
