I'm looking to do more of a vegetarian bodybuilder diet. I know a couple people who said it really worked out well for them. I'm wondering what are the best recommended foods that you recommend if I want to try this and how much protein do you think I really need?
My main protein sources are :
- whey
- seitan
- tofu
- legumes (lentils, beans …)
I easily get 180-220g per day. I went up to 300g once so protein isn’t an issue. The main issue is the fiber content and low calorie density so be careful.
Nothing wrong with a vegetarian diet. Lots of people do it. You can definitely get away with lots of eggs and lots of dairy. Raw cheese is really good.
