best Death-By-Gun scene from a movie...

May sound fucked up, but the death-by-gun scenes in Schindler's List were the most effective I thought.

The Godfather when Sonny gets bombarded at the gate is good too.

Pvt. Pyle in Full Metal Jacket.

Saving Private Ryan when Sniper Jackson kills the sniper that killed Vin Diesel with a bullet through the scope.

^^Wow I just actually looked over the thread and all of mine were on there. Nice guys.

But, of course, the grand daddy of them all, that SICK ASS scene in The Professional where Leon practically takes down a whole swat team by himself.
"Yeah, what?"
"This is Tanto downstairs. There's a guy wants to talk to you."
"What's he look like?"
"Serious."
"Tell him I'm coming up."
"He's coming up."
"Somebody's coming up. Somebody serious."

Leon fucking ruled in that movie.

Especially when the cop stuck his head around the corner to look and Leon had the barrel of the gun right on his forehead.

Officer 1 - "you see him?"
Officer 2 - *looking down gun barrel* "yeah.. I see him."
Officer 1 - "where is he?
Officer 2 - "right here."

End of Scarface. Tony takes about 30 bullets before gettin hit with the shotty from behind. I think the cocaine was the only thing keeping him alive and standing.

I can't believe I forgot this one. Probably the best gun fight in movie history imo.

Unforgiven. When Clint Eastwood walks into the bar while everyone's back is turned and the lightning strikes and everyone see's him there with that side by side shot gun. Dope.

Gene Hackman "well you sir are one cowardly sonofabitch. You just shot an unarmed man."

Clint Eastwood "well he should have armed himself if he's gonna decorate his saloon with my friend."

Of course the whole last part of Commando deserves honors for most ass kicking by one guy with an m60.

I've never seen gunfights that can rival those in, "The Killer".

For single shot glory watch the second to last scene in, "Bound". Watching lipstick lesbian Jennifer Tilly bust a cap into her 'boyfriend' played by Joe Pantoliano is interesting.
if you like gun play, you gotta see this one.

That gunfight between the cop and Mad Dog in, "Hardboiled", where they are firing at eachother while jumping around on the desks is awesome.

Whatever happened to Woo? Once he starting making bigger budget films, the intensity of the fights became shells of their former selves.
