Best alternative to Tylers Liver Detox???

I've heard good things about Liv 52, so I will probably try that, but I was also looking at this:

http://www.nowfoods.com/?action=itemdetail&item_id=43326

Anyone think a combo of Liv 52 and the NOW product would be leaving anything out???

Anyone think there's anything all that "special" in Tylers to justify the steep price? Too bad there's not even an ingredient list on the site, that seems to be a red flag in itself.

any and all suggestions/opinions/etc. much appreciated

thanks

anybody with any opinions on the NOW product?

Also, might anybody know where I can find the ingredients in Tylers?

thanks

I use Now vitamins.
They seem to be pretty good.
Can't comment on the particluar product you are asking about, never tried it.

looks good, I also believe in the use of Glutamine Peptides as in G-covery seen here:

http://agxsports.com/gcovery.html
www.AGXsports.com

having used Orals many times INCLUDING extremely Toxic pain killers, G-covery helped bring function back to normal.

Its one of the reason we just cant let the product go :)

its only $29.95 now too for full month or more of use.

thanks OMEGA...but wondering, is it the glutamine in there? Or some of the other stuff? Or maybe a bit of a mystery?

Thanks

its the "deliverable" glutamine that will actually reach its destination. Plus it is also the primary energy source for the immune system, thus amplifying your bodies ability to mediate toxins, health issues etc.

Yes the other Protein Sub Fractions have there own benefits as well.

if you decide to take the product really gage how you feel over a 3-5 day period, and how health will generally just will feel better

This IS a supplement question, right?

In that case, I have to say the answer to your question is "POST CYCLE" from Protein Factory.

Throw in some alpha lipoic acid if you aren't taking that already and some selenium.
Also CoQ10 seems to help alot. I am not sure which model of liver damage reflects steroid use the most but they all seem to help.

A conservative triple antioxidant approach to the treatment of hepatitis C. Combination of alpha lipoic acid (thioctic acid), silymarin, and selenium: three case histories.

The triple antioxidant combination of alpha-lipoic acid, silymarin and selenium was chosen for a conservative treatment of hepatitis C because these substances protect the liver from free radical damage, increase the levels of other fundamental antioxidants, and interfere with viral proliferation. The 3 patients presented in this paper followed the triple antioxidant program and recovered quickly and their laboratory values remarkably improved. Furthermore, liver transplantation was avoided and the patients are back at work, carrying out their normal activities, and feeling healthy.
