first cycle commentary

Need some opinion: I'm 26yrs, 5ft9, 150. I'm a soccer player in a competitive, but not professional league (read untested). I'm looking to gain some strength without too much weight, though, as you can see I can afford to gain some weight as long as strength follows, but it's not necessary. Given the longevity of the sport, I don't care to put on quick/cheap weight. My league is off for a few months and I want to power up. Here is what I have in mind, commentary would be appreciated:

Weeks 1 and 2: var 30
Weeks 3 and 4: var 40
Weeks 5 and 6: var 40, Sustain Alpha
Week 7 SA, Liv52
Will run the whole thing with liv 52 buffer one week in advance(speak up if there's something better).
Will also have glucosamine/chondroitin before during and after for ligament/joint support because I'm not interested in getting injured due to strength gains in a cutting/running sport.

I could run less on the var, but I'll have enough for this cycle regardless, and from what I've read, no one thinks much of less than 30mg ed unless your a fem. But if anyone has any ideas on the dosing sound off.

I'm mostly wondering about whether I should ramp up or ramp down the cycle, whether or not SA is sufficient PCT or if i should get clomid and if there are better liver support and joint support supps I should use. The sport requires great cardio, strength and flexibility so if there is anything I can do to repair the lipid, hpta and liver profiles better let me hear it.

For the dose you are considering you should just save your money bro. It would be far better for you to go a test only cycle. At your age and activity level believe me you are not gonna need to worry about gaining too much weight. Even if you eat everything that isnt nailed down you still would prolly burn it all off.
 
steroids will not make you the next David Beckham. steroids are used by gym rats and bodybuilders who are trying to build mass and strength.. that is what they are designed for.. the only thing that will help you become a better soccer player would be to practice more. work on your acceleration, your agility etc.
 
Well, I'm beyond hopes of being the next Beckham. I play in competitive rec leagues, and have a life outside soccer these days. Anyway, 50 var throughout would probably see significant hpta shutdown. Would SA be enough alone, or would something more be needed? Also, do people generally split var into doses throughout the day or take all at once?
 
I think your best option here would be natty supps.. they won't shut you down and they will boost your test levels and give you that extra kick. check out my link on my signature.. there are 2 excellent natural test booster supplements on there. I use the Matrix myself.

also I would recommend some deadlifts/squats to strengthen your legs and interval training to improve your speed
