Bernie Mac dies at age 50

He had a disease that put large benign growths in his lungs, supposedly it was in remission. I suspect the Pneumonia had something to do with that. Sorry to hear it. RIP. Looks like Ocean's 14 is no longer viable.

Wow I just watched Oceans 13 last night . damn thats so young,.. that seems a bit odd to die of pnumonia at such a young age .. I wonder if it was something els?

It can happen. My sister's ex boyfriend was not feeling well for awhile, but didn't think it was anything to worry about... He passed out at home and was induced into a coma for nearly a month... Was diagnosed with pnuemonia and barely escaped with his life. His kidneys had shut down...

Comedian Bernie Mac dies at age 50

Comedian Bernie Mac died early Saturday in a Chicago-area hospital from complications due to pneumonia, his publicist told CNN. He was 50. Publicist Danica Smith did not provide additional details, and asked that his family's privacy be respected.
