Okay big pansy report:

went to hit the bench press, guess what, having some problems

even if i go to bench a really low weigft, like just the 45 lb bar on its own, i cant control the damn thing its moving allover the place

is there a muscle group i need to work out a lot so i can control it?

you'll need to work your stabilizing muscles/stabilizers. if you are very new to working out, this is something that will develop eventually using free weights. if i were you, i would focus ONLY on free weight movements. don't waste your time on machines, except different types of pulldowns. make sure you concentrate on your form, as bad habits are easily developed and can be hard to shake. hope this helps

ok, can ianyone tell me what trhe stabilizers are?

lats, traps, and rear delts. just stick to the basics, the stability will come with time, as will the strenght, i agree with dev, stay with free weights and compound movements.

It takes a while to get used to the gym, the equipment, the bars, how to put weights on the bars, when to wear a belt, where to put your feet, where to touch the bar on your chest, the list is very long.

Alot of what you are in for is development of a sense that comes with doing the movement hundreds, and hundreds, eventually thousands of times. Right now your muscles and nerves have no memory yet, because of course it is new. Just keep going to the gym, find training partners, watch and learn. How exciting this must be for you.

If you really wanna look like a pig on roller skates, do dumbell press while laying on a stability ball.

Friggin made me luke like a fook, damn Westside shit, always coming up with something goofy I feel compelled to try...

It is hard enough for me to walk across the gym without tripping over my own feet I wouldn't try that one, the incline bench is hard enough to get on without looking lame as hell for me. I like Mr. Simmons fine, good reading, nice tattoos.

THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO BUILD STABILITY! I RECOMMEND IT ALSO.........
