Belt while benching?

Ive got Chris Masons Big Bench Belt
it does make a difference -not cheap

but i also know a good buddy of mine who tried it didnt like it and uses this belt

might be worth trying out one for 20 bucks before blowing 80
still plenty left over for pizza and guinness

Klein tool makes a belt like this, I used to sell products from klein tools. I was going to take a cheap leather belt and trim it down. Now I think I will give a klein tool belt a try. I cant stand wearing my regular belt while benching it makes it hard for me to arch.

Well... I missed 500. Got it about halfway up so I'm going to work on my triceps a little harder... I was good for 485, but I thought maybe I could pull 500 off. NOPE! I was wearing an Inzer Blast and a belt... I probably need to work with the shirt more because it really did not feel right coming down.

I still won the contest with 455. Here on Camp Victory in Baghdad there isn't alot of competition. I got 470 about a month ago.

I'll try again at the end of June...

Nice job on the bench. You will get 500 soon. Work your tricep harder and you will get it.

The blast shirt feels weird to me. I wore a loose one once. It bites down hard on the pecs which is uncomfortable.

Yeah, just for holding a shirt down for me. It actually makes it harder to arch, but I dont have the cash to get a bench belt... that money is earmarked for pizza and Guinness.
