That's about to be vacant, but you still have a 2 years for that one...
ayeap, my point of view as well. I am tired of hearing people that they cant find a job. Bullshit. They are just picky and are looking for something in particular. If I wanted to find a job, I wpuld get it very fast, McDonalds always has a free spot to fill ingjohnson5 said:A resume is not required to get "A" job. You could have worked in sales wherall you need is to fill out an application. Yeah the pay is not great but it's better then nothing.

foxxie said:I guess my problem is I need to go out more and apply in person than sending my resume online. I know it would look better when applying on person than just sending your resume via online.
Daisy_Girl said:Apparently you are doing something wrong, are looking for jobs you are VERY unqualified for or your approach is wrong.
Like Velv asked - do you gets calls? Interviews?
What kinds of jobs are you applying for?
foxxie said:I did got an offer once but as an " Idiot", I didn't take the job because the job location is pretty ghetto.
I should have taken it but yeah I think my problem is I am very picky ( I know I should have taken the first offer is better than nothing). Of course I apply on a position that I have experience with or qualify for.
gjohnson5 said:Being "qualified" is in the eyes of the employer. If you think you are "qualified" and you have not been getting answers back , this could mean that your idea of "being qualified" is not correct. It could also mean that you resume does not contain the proper keywords to indicate that you are "qualified"
Make sure that your resule lists all the skills that you posses. Most employment agencies use keywords to search ones resume. So start rewriting your resume and make sure it contains all the skills the employer in the job requirement is asking for

How long can a person draw unemployment ?
blueta2 said:It's ok to be picky if you are looking for a specific job, but if you need to pay bills, being picky is self-defeating.
Sending out resumes and "pounding the pavement" are all good if you want any job or there is a small chance you will get lucky this way (small chance). The best way to find your dream job or a good job is to network. Make contacts. Go to the happy hrs after work near a large company and get to know the ppl. Ask friends if they have friends who work for good companies.
Networking is really the best way to get a great job.
Employers would rather hire folks with references than people from the street or resumes from the net.
Network, network, network!
Good luck and don't give up
BIKINIMOM said:I have difficulty believing that you have a degree in pharmacy yet you have ZERO experience in that field.
From what I understand it is difficult to obtain a pharmacy degree. How on earth could you have made it through such difficult schooling and then suddenly decided that you want to be "a housewife"? Do you even have kids?
I am not passing judgement just dont see the logic in your posts as they are so inconsistent.
You claim to have a degree that requires a great deal of mental prowess yet your grammar leaves quite a lot to be desired to say the least.
And when people ask what type of job you are looking for and list the type of experience you have, you post up very broad terms that could be applied to having worked at The Gap.
foxxie said:Moving from places to places is one of the reason why I dont have stable job. This is because of my husband work.
Frisky said:wait.........
you are married?
LOL
holy shit batman, i thought you just had a roomate? Girl/boy.. whatever... make up your mind please.
If you have a degree in pharmacy it still should be no issue.. hit the local walgreens, or riteaid, or fuck winndixie.
foxxie said:I did applied everywhere ( hospital, clinic, community) I still got no luck!
Even applied different position not just as a pharmacy..
I am married and yes I have a roommate which is my brother-in-law.
Frisky said:Well the last I saw you post was that you DIDN'T NEED TO WORK... right.
so whats the issue?
If you really want to keep yourself busy then pull down a part time job somewhere until the next location.
My lawn needs to be mowed
foxxie said:That's right I dont need to work but I want to work. So I can help my husband out.
There's no issue at all I just feel bad for my husband. That's all! Beside I am not really use on not working at all for fact I've been working since I was 16.
I want to have a stable job and I dont think mowing someone lawn is not stable job at all. lol
Frisky said:well sweet tuts.. ya know what, when I was out of work and needed to not only occupy my time to keep busy, but also to bring in extra cash I stooped to the pt of my own business cleaning homes. I did what I had to do to bring it in. At that time I was waiting for a seat to attend school and was bored out of my mind.
You do what you got to do.
foxxie said:Moving from places to places is one of the reason why I dont have stable job. This is because of my husband
I have known professionals who can't even speak english well. A lot of them works on a medical field. I know this because I had work in a hospital before ..
However I would admit I need a bit of improvement on my english grammar. Knowing three different langaunge is not easy...
BIKINIMOM said:Sorry....
I call bullshit.
English is NOT my mother tongue. I was schooled in a third and did so well that I was exempt from finals and was "forced" (though gladly) to learn a fourth when I lived in that country.
Your husband in the military?
If you feel so bad that your husband is the only one to bring in an income then you can easily get a job watching other people's children for few hours a day several days per week. Those people have stable jobs so you would have a stable job.
If you want to work badly enough you can find a job.
See now if you dont WANT to work, that is another issue altogether.
foxxie said:YOur smart then and let just say I am Dumb. I dont think I am but if that's the way you perceived that I am then I can't do anything about that.
I have been Sending my resume and applying everywhere I could. Well exemption of I guess working in a fast food or working in a clothing store.
My husband is not in the military...
BIKINIMOM said:Then how is it that he moves around quite a bit yet can hold down a stable job?
It isn't about who is smarter. I just fail to understand how someone can be bright enough to know three languages, have a degree in Pharmacy and not have any experience in that line of work.
I never finished college. Only put myself through two years and quit to get married so I am a bonified dumbass.... period.

Frisky you reminded me of a local saying:
"over here, your either own the lawn or you cut the lawn"
Maybe it's a local thing but it's funny and sad all at the same time.
