being sick sucks

i was starting that new routine i came up with untill i got sick about 10 days ago.. i still ate alot, just no super heavy lifitng, some machines to get the blood moving and such. im trying to bounce back starting today, i felt good, just my endurance is a lil off. i only got 315 for 7 on flat press. anyway, who was or just got over being sick, damn flu season
 
i have gotten a cold or strep throat the last two years the first week of nov. i'm going into seclusion for two weeks before nov. 1 this year ;)
 
I know what you mean brother!! Always sucks. Ill lift through any sickness aside from stomache flus, and always try to push myself to the limit,even with fevers. I just increase the vitamin c, drink alot of orange juice and try to sweat some of it off. If its a stomache flu, that really fucks me up though. Thats when I can drop some real weight and strength. Keep KILLING that shit brother, youll get the endurance back in no time!
 
I swear by 3 things on the rare occasion that I get sick.

Lot's of sleep.

A gallon of country style apple juice a day.

Some form of pain killer for sleep like tylenol or Ibuprofen.

I don't use aspirin, it makes my stomache cramp something FIERCE.
 
I'm sick right now it sucks, headache, sore throat, clogged sinuss. I'm taking some time off since I've got a busy school week and I'm sick.
 
yea I feel ya oak...I really can't pinpoint why the fuck I'm sick all the time, maybe it's this shithole of a dorm room that I live in...but definitely always a step forward and 2 steps back cos of bullshit little illnesses...
 
I was just ill, I can't workout when ill and depending how ill I get it takes up to 1 week - 10 days after I am better until my endurence s back up...
I think it is a mistake to workout when you are ill. you need the rest.
I blame the cigarettes for getting ill usually, but I just can't give them up.
 
Been a Pepto day for me...all day long.

Still squatted and deadlifted. Sucked...but enough to get me to a PR pull soon.

Ya I decided to say fuck it and go ahead and do ME bench in an hour or so
