Finally hit 250!!! :D Now it's time to cut some of this fat off, and bulk some more! Next time I'm aiming for 280.

how do you feel about your 50 lb gain? in my opinion you should have tried harder for more muscle gains. i don't notice any significant muscle increase. how is your strength? way up? or just a little bit? i would say eat cleaner next time when you bulk

i am not trying to be an asshole, but it looks like you gained 45 lbs of fat. not good

I'm 6'4"
At first, the majority of my bulk was hamburger helper and crap food, but I cleaned up around the last two months. My strength is up significantly. Deadlift went from 135 to 315 for reps. Squat went from 185 to 225 and bench went from 135 to 185. This is the diet i've been following for about the last two months...

I've learned alot from the bulk so overall I'm pretty happy, but I'm definately gonna eat better the next time around.

My computer sucks, but I can't see the pictures for some reason. Just gives me a white screen with some weird lettering.

Wow. You put on some weight there. Nice strength gains.

It's good that you learned the hamburger helper diet doesn't work (who the fuck told you this in the first place?)

I looked at your other thread where had your new diet. It is a one million percent improvement.

thanks. :) The hamburger helper diet is my own stupid idea lol I started that back before I knew much about bulking and was just looking for an easy way to eat lots of calories.

Looks like you did put a lot of size on your chest, shoulders, and arms...

Learn about your body...and figure out what works best for you. I love eating like junk and can still say fairly lean while doing it. I also have quite a bit of LBM to keep my metabolism up there.

Good progress!!!

I'm going to have to be honest, and agree that I see maybe 5-10lb increase in muscle mass, and at least 40-45lbs of fat. BUT you do have dedication, and thats important.

Since you said you cleaned up your diet, and you are going to look into other training methods, I think you are on the right path. But instead of dreaming of 280 right now, I would cut down to at least 205-210, and then aim for a nice 10lbs of lean mass over time, and then go from there. Good luck, and keep at it.

ps. Pics don't tell the whole story though. You may have huge legs, or great thickness in your back. I do see a big improvement in your traps, and that is always a good thing :)

Guys, you can't really say he gained 45 pounds of fat without seeing his back and legs. Muscle seems to grow more on the back and legs while fat collects on the front (at least for me it does).

Definitely true Mike. I'm the same way.

I've never had to go from scrawny to bulky, I was always the fatass. But I've watched all my scrawny buds try to put on weight and I have to say it's hella easier to lose than it is to gain. Keep up your clean diet and hitting the iron and you'll be in good shape.
