We all know we can gain 10, 20, even 30 pounds on a cycle. But of coarse, if even 10 pounds was sustainable muscle, we would all be walking around like Flex and Ronnie after 6 cycles. I want your honest opinion. I have done only 4 cycles (all in the past 1 1/4 year), and can honestly say I have gained about 15 pounds of quality muscle. I am happy with that. I also lost about 5 pounds of fat, so my physique has been dramatically overhauled. I figure, if I gain 30 REAL QUALITY pounds in the next 2 years, I will be very happy, but I think it will be more like 20. What have your experiences been? By the way, the guys who are on the juice all the time for a year or two, or bridge without getting clean - what do you think will happen when you clean up (Shrinkville!?)
 
first of all it obviously depends upon what cycle you do. second holding onto 10lbs only isnt true bro ino guys on this board put on 15lbs of muscle and kept it on an anavar only cycle and we all know that anavar isnt even a good mass steroid.
 
"shrinkville" as you put it (im assuming pertaining to musclar gains, and not the state of your nads) depends on how far past one's genetic limit he/she is, if at all... If you maintain a good healthy lifestyle and continue to lift a lot then you wont take the drive to "shrinkville" if you weren't past your genetic potential... Obviously if you WERE past your GP then you would shrink down to what your body could maintain off steroidal aid after a period of time... but you wont shrivel up like a 90 year old man sitting in a lawn chair with his cock in one hand and his cane in another, at least I don't think so :FRlol: ;)

So, Gunslinger, how many cycles have you done? 4 or more? Are you telling me that, for example, you can hold 40 pounds of muscle naturally on your body after 4 cycles and after 3 months with no juice?
That would mean (example) a guy at 180 lbs. with 8% body fat would be 220lbs with 8% b.f. One strong diet later, and the dude would be in competition after 4 cycles (not discussing quality of muscle, etc, that only time builds)! Come on, guys, let's get real - it doesn't work that easily. I wish it did, but it doesn't. I would say maybe my genetics are fucked, but then I think about reality of this game and feel better. This stuff ain't free. SLOW progression.
 
I don't seem to go much higher then 10 even at high doses and stacking

I might get 14 lbs if I am lucky but afterwards I usually always keep 10. I think there may have been only 9 once. I have only done 4 cycles and have had excellent results. I think I have genetics too.

Well, it wasn't that bad! Good point about natural level body can grow to - last cycle I sustained the most from wise and strict post-cycle regimen. Was first cycle I used Clen, and used Nolvadex, Proviron and Clomid together for first time during and after HCG. I think I will use only a little Proviron for time of HCG next post-cycle to totally block estrogen. Early cycles I didn't have the knowledge to sustain substantial gains (plus hernia surgery after one). I am a firm believer that the biggest long-term gains are had from the ability to work out heavier and more intensely and recover quicker with AS than without, and proper diet while on AS, hence induced growth of the muscles. The rest is water that leaks out like a hole in a bucket.
I wish I could just be on roids for about 5 years straight. Yeh, baby!!! But then I would like either that 90 year old man or Ronnie C., one of the two. I'm not sure which. Would depend on availability of liver transplant doner.
 
My first couple cycles allowed great gains between 12-15 of keepable gains. Then I had an injury and lost alot of mass. THe following cycle only 6 weeks of fina/prop/winny/l-dex was great I went from 160-180 extreme low body fat. Next last cycle was 12 weeks long I went from 180-205. But in just a few weeks I'm down to 190. I still look and fell great but it sucks still. And yes I used l-dex while on and used HCG, Nolvadex, clomid post cycle.

I'll be glad when I turn 25 and hopefully the price of GH will be lower.:D :D :D

I've kept about 14 lbs last cycle and even took off a month post cycle because of an injury and started gaining just about all the weight I had on cycle all but 4lbs, now this cycle just ended now on clomid will see what I keep and will post it later if asked.
 
Their are sooo many variables involved here. Being a novice, I'm certainly guilty of asking the senior gear heads "how much ya think I'll gain off that cycle?"

We ask how much would you gain off a given cycle. We need to ask alot more questions like "how did your training look like on your cycle? How was your diet? What kind of previous training had you done? What kind of progress were you making previous to the cycle?"
 
im not saying that at all but on the poll ur referring to a keepable gain of 3lbs maybe if you didnt use clomid thats what you'd keep. it all depends on how many cycles youve done and your genetic limit. i was just giving a keepable gain off anavar as an example thats probably the only cycle youd keep all your gains(as golfer sed) i wasnt implying that you keep all your gains in every cycle. what the fuck is the point of running dbol/deca/test if you only keep 3lbs in the end. there are too many variables to give you a real good gauge. early on if done right you should get great keepable gains.
 
my first cycle i gained about 30 lbs and kept maybe 25. i have done four cycles since and each i gain about15 or 20 but mostly i lose and go back to my first cycle but it sure is fun trying
i guess i reached my gp on my first cycle but i am 32 yrs old it is not as easy as you get older
 
gained 25 pounds in 8 weeks using propionate alone. went from 157 to 182. after cycle dropped down to 177, and stayed there.

gained 23 pounds in 8 weeks second time with prop and anadrol. that time I lost a lot of weight for other reasons - got sick, and my irregular heartbeat was amplified, got freaked and depressed, quit working out and eating, so yeah i lost most of it that time.

Personally, I think a lot has to do with your genetics, diet, sleeping habits, Training regimen, and partying habits. Same shit most everyone else would say. But genetically, some people will respond better than others to juice, more steriod receptors, etc.
 
this past year i havnt taken alot of time off at all. the past cycle i gained 15lbs and lost almost all of it. to many androgenic steroids in that one. i am in the middle of a big one now and i just got a serious flu so back down again. i think my body doesnt want me to weight over 200lbs permanetly. its pissin me off. i just unleashed the insulin so we will see what happens.
 
I gained a little over 30lbs my first cycle. 4 months after post cycle I had kept 25+ never lost any of it to this day. My past cycles have not been near as sucsessful (in gains) as my first but I still keep about 8-12 lbs avg/cycle You gotta remeber I am but a WeeMan still a little under 190 at 5'9 I dont want to look like a freak though sorry to those of you who do I think thats great Its just not what Im using for

First cycle deca/sust/winny kept 10 lbs muscle, lost 3lbs fat
finishing winny/fina cycle- up 7 solid lbs with muscles harder, more definition, and vascularity
 
have done one cycle 500 test wk for 6wks and 50mg winny a day for 4.5wks(stopped early for hairloss). i ate like a pig and put on 20lbs. i would say atleast 5pds was fat. it is very important to keep those cals high right after or else that muscle will burn off in no time. i rather add a little fat then lose my gain$
 
I gained 25 pounds on a superdrol solo cycle. I kept all the weight except about 5 pounds after I went from 10% bf back down to 8%
 
Last
Cycle was helladrol katanadrol and sarms tripple stack. Gained 15 lbs in 7 weeks 200-215. Still floating around 210 and pct is overrrrrrrr
 
Realistically I think most people think they "gain" a lot more than they do. Yeah I gained 35lbs on my first cycle and thought I was the shit. In reality I gained a ton of bloat and fat and a little muscle. Even with gear you are not going to put on 10 or more lbs of 100 percent lean muscle in one cycle. Its just not that easy. I'm learning to take it slower with my diet rather than doing the yo-yo thing. Blowing up and cutting down. I'd rather gradually put on quality lean muscle over time.
 
It all depends on what your goals are, and how you eat.

Before when I recomped.. I kept 5-7 pounds each time.

Now when I bulked.. I put on around 20 pounds and still holding.
 
First cycle with sustanon gained about 30lbs, but lost 10. Next cycle kept maybe 12 to 15 lbs, then from 8-10 each after. The thing is if the genetics aren't there, you have to stay on to stay big, but we all know that isn't good. So for the last few cycles I would gain, then lose, gain then lose... always playing catch up. I haven't done a cycle in years now, and I expect to have an awesome "first" cycle. Not only because I know how big I CAN get, but because of everything I learned on past cycles. I will start in a week or so and
I am pumped about it.
 
I did my first cycle in 7 years for a show and 2 months later, I can;t say I held on to a lot of weight, because I didn't gain a lot of weight. But I've maintained about 90% of my sharpness. My abs look better than they have in years.

EXACTLY. First of all, it's almost impossible to hang on to 10 pounds of muscle, I don't care if you do 2 grams a week for 4 months. The body simply won't hold it.

Now you can gain 4 pounds of muscle and 6 pounds of water and once you're off you can gain 6 pounds of fat. THAT is possible and most likely what is happening in most cases.

And you know what the bitch is? You can gain 4 pounds of muscle in a month and a half with 600 mgs a week and the right supplements, if you train right.

So why is that hardly ever done?

Test + Dbol gave me 9 lbs and by end of Pct I was up to 11. Slow and steady is the way.

Exactly - most of these guys must be around 350# now.

These large gains only happen on the first cycle OR, when someone is cycling prematurely before they've reached there genetic potential. Meaning they could have made the gains naturally had they known what to do.

Once you get to your genetic potential, it gets a lot harder. You almost have to lie, cheat and steal to gain a few lean pounds.
