BCAA- How Important Are They???

Guys, I've seen a bunch of nutrition articles by bodybuilders & trainers saying you should take BCAA's before & after training for maximum results. In fact, Charles Poliquin said he observed one his clients use .17g/kg of lean body mass of BCAA's 1 hour before training and .17g/kg immediately after training. He said this helped the guy gain 16.8lbs of lean body mass in 8 weeks. I guess that's what David Boston must have used too, right??? :)
 
A complete waste of money, Look at the protein jug some have as many as 25,000mg of BCAA in each serving.
Supplementing alone you would need enormous amounts that would make little difference and cost $$$$ But to answer your question...yes ! BCAA's are essential in the process of breaking down & asorbing protein! (its very late ,so pardon my spelling)

take a guess what you end up with after you digest pretty much any protein under the sun

bcaa's are bullshit. im not saying they wouldnt work, but i wouldnt hazard that they would work any worse than a protein shake post workout
