BBC's 'You are what you eat'

I love the title: " You are what you eat" !

I'll have to watch it on BBC. I'll have to check the BBC on demand too.

If my hubby reads this, I'm sure he could add some smart ass comment too. :0

You are what you eat

You are the company you keep.

You are the decisions that you make

Great new pilots!

I do.

I also really like The Food Doctors, Honey, We're Killing the Children, Jamie Oliver's School Dinners, and right now there is this great new program called 'The Diets that Time Forgot'.

Anyone watch this program? I love it. It's hosted by nutritionalist, Dr. Gillian McKeith.

I really like BBC America. Have you ever watched Graham Norton? Scandalous. Makes David Letterman look positively tame.

You want to catch a really interesting show, watch How Clean is Your House. You'll either feel virtuous as hell or want to puke.

Watched that show once. They had this old bachelor dude who hadn't cleaned his house in a ton of years, cigarettes fucking everywhere! Never actually took his garbage outside n shit...wow, I was disgusted! That show was crazy!! I felt so bad for those ladies trying to clean the place, I honestly have no idea how they could even do it.

Yes, he's hilarious! And I watch 'How Clean is your House' as well. How people can walk over mounds of crap just to get to the toilet, or prepare food on a countertop littered with mouse turds, is beyond me.

i love the office and extras. hillarious.

british shows are actually funny now. in the past, i never understood their wierd humor. except of course for benny hill. rip.

didnt click the link, but i read some shit about humans being composed significantly of corn now, because almost everything we eat was either once fed corn, or uses some derivative of corn as one of its ingredients

lol. I've caught this show on BBC. I agree, my gag reflex is on high alert while watching it.

Blue- I recall the mouse turds. Did you catch the show with the disgusting sponge in the sink? Dear God, I'm gonna gag thinking about all this again. lol

Also....Did anyone else catch the show on BBC called : " Love me, love my real doll"?

I have few words...You gotta watch it to believe it.

LOL, yes, disgusting. Another thing...I think they should do a tandem production with 'you are what you eat', because many of these filth offenders are obese.

Wait until they re-run the one with the woman who has FIVE birds, and keeps none of them caged. Whole damn house (and her) covered in bird shit. She actually had slugs in her living room.

Gawwwwwwd, disgusting. I think I caught the end of that episode. A bunch of cockatiels, she was very short, obese, and wore an off-shoulder top when the ladies returned to check on her? Her birds were still loose and flying around...lol

Yep, that's one. The carpet guy actually called Kim and Aggie over to show the snail trails when he moved the couch

My toes squirm thinking of walking across something like that.

These shows are cheap to produce, have zero $ in cast salaries, and bring in tons of cash.

Isn't TLC the network that is ALWAYS showing fat people and their hardships? I love that channel!

Yes, TLC does have makeover shows, but I'm not sure if they run something similar to the McKeith BBC series.

A lot of shows here are just copies of BBC shows. There's a lot of cross-collaboration going on between the two industries.

I interviewed with BBC once (they called me back, so twice). Real standup guys. Very classy operation. But I didn't want to drive 50mins to their big building near West LA.

Oh and I got a stupid parking ticket on that small residential street across from their building. Ugh.

I have noticed that. I'm a hugh fan of BBC programs. I love the old sitcoms from the 70's and 80's which our PBS channels run.
