the guy is great, im not denying that, hes still the best player ive ever seen, but the #s speak for themselves on how much it has helped him

I"m gonna disagree. Look at his HR versus at bats. It wasn't til '90 that he was over 30 consistently. You think he's been juicing since then? I'm saying he was still learning to read a pitcher before then.

pre 2000 he never had one year when he hit a hr every 10 at bats
2000 and later he never had a year where he didnt hit a hr every 10 abs
sure he started having years where he was hitting 40hrs in the 90s but look at his abs, they were always over 500 when he did it
then compare that to 2000 and on
hell he had 2 years where he hit 45 hrs with less than 400 abs!!

I really don't want him to pass Aaron because I don't like his attitude. He does not seem like a true team player. Plus he continually whines about the media "ruining him". But I admit that he does have one killer swing. It's a shame he couldn't show a bit more class.

dude was a well documented drunkard during Prohibition
so him and bonds have something in common! Both took stuff that was illegal(and alchohol with more logical reason than steroids) during thier respective times. everyone seems to forget that
also the babe never played agaisnt any black guys
