Bananas -- good or bad

One banana has 52.7 g of carbs and 47.3 g of sugar - good or bad - I've been having one with my shake in the am and sometimes before the gym with some npb?
 
are u bulking or cutting?

I can see problems when cutting especially cos the carbs are fructose but bulking it's probably good + its loaded with potassium
 
bad idea with pb although fruit while cutting is essential in mainting proper thyroid function. (Unless doing CKD)
 
Bulking - would you still have it with the npb - I usually have that or a piece of multi-grain bread about 1 hr before my workout with some plain yogurt.
 
Yep, Fructose which is primiarily carbs in Ban does not produce insuilin response and recarbing liver before working out has been shown to increase performance so its cool if bulking.
 
Usually i put a banana in with my post workout shake and eat one in the afternoon. Sure helps out when i do cardio/hiit
 
monkeys seem to love em and theyre much more solid than humans.

It is better to take more than 3 hours before of your workout and after workout. That makes your muscles loaded. And I suggest do not take carbs (esp. bananas) before bed.
