I got this point tenderness on my shoulder that i figured was from benching too much or over usage. Not too long ago i ran into a power lifter who said it was a strained bicep. ok. well im not sure what the hell is going on but I can't even thro up 135 without it kickin up hell. Im reduced to workout out with dumbells now. and its only incline too. i want to get onto a cycle soon but im not sure if i can with this problem. is there anything i can do? i've taken a week off from upperbody and i just bomb my legs.

Bro I would suggest taking some serious time off until your shoulder heals. I can tell you from past experience that this is probably best. I didn't have shoulder pain, my wrists were my demon. IMO, you will be better off in the long run if you take the time to let it heal now, instead of pushing through it and making it worse...ESPECIALLY with a cycle. Your muslces will get stronger and want to lift more weight...but your shoulder can't handle the weight you are doing NOW, so why do anything to increase that weight???

This is just my opinion...stick around and let other guys give their thoughts.

theres a good link about shoulder rehab that was posted before, its at http://www.dolfzine.com

not sure the exact spot on there, maybe just do an EF search for www.dolfzine and youll get the exact link. Theres also ART (Active Release Technique), and prolotherapy. These two things both go against the whole "Rest is best" theory, and stress that inflammation is good and the key to healing. peace
