Bad seal?

After pinning a couple times it looks like the glue from the seal on the vial has started to come off and has mixed in with the test. Has anyone had this happen before? Still ok to use?

There shouldn't be glue on the seal in the first place

Right! It should have a metal cap holding it on with a hole exposing the rubber stopper.

Oh dear. This sounds like a dodgy source. Shame it cannot be discussed here, so don't be tempted!

I would abandon usage of this gear.

the only other thing i can think of is i did take some wire cutters and remove the metal and popped the rubber off,i did this so i could draw up that last tiny bit in the bottle.

I wonder if its some type of adhesive to help the metal cap stay on. They make a crimping tool to seal the metal tops to the vials though. IDK

Definitely get another vial. You don't know what could have mixed with your test out of that 'glue'.

Yeah! that metal is crimped around the lip of the vial so it's impossible to come off!

It may just be crystalizing....
