Bad injection in Quad, need help!!!

I injected a week ago in my quad for the second time. I have horrible pain. Its not red or swollen and it hurts when I use the muscle. I can stand on it fine but when I push to walk or do anything besides straighten it, it hurts extremely bad. What do I do its starting to scare me. I can't even fully do my job due to the pain, had to take time off work.

First time I did my quads it felt like I had been shot for a few days. Really difficult to walk short distances, but found it would ease off on longer walks. Being a cyclist thought it would hamper that, but the more vigorously I worked them, the less pain I'd have.
Now I just rotate quads and glutes. Still get the odd bit of dead leg from a quad pin but nothing major. It's actually my favourite pin site.

Happened to me for a good few weeks like someone had given me a major charlie horse, its just your muscle not being used to having the oil and chemicals in there on other boards i've heard it referred to as virgin muscle syndrome your good to go

It'll go away bro there's nothing to worry about. Your muslce needs to get used to the injections. I remember my first quad injections, I couldn't walk for days after one and had to skip some leg days too.

You more then likely nicked a nerve in your leg. Some people can't do quads because of the way their nerves in their legs are lined up. Try it again but if the problem persists then just stick (no pun intended) to glutes or delts.

its a very common problem... there's no need to freak out or anything... it will take a while for the pain to subside though... try your delts... they are much easier...
