Bad injection can't walk....help!

i shot generic enanthate 400mg/ml into my left glute. never had a problem....did it on tuesday and now i can't walk and my ass looks like there is a grapefruit in it. its all read and swollen and i feel the pain in my lower back now too. its swelling like a mother fucker. what the hell is this? i've had pain before but this is so unbearable... anyone?

I read a thread before about this happening, where the oil couldn't absorb because of scar tissue. If this is the case you might have to get it lanced. Other thing it might have been but by your posts I doubt it...is you went too low with the pin and got in the nerves....your back on the opposite side will hurt (lower) and the leg on the same side as the injection.

Apply warm to hot compresses with a wash cloth to the area every hour or so...This should help any oil that's coagulated in the region to disperse and reduce localized swelling.If pain/swelling continues,I would HIGHLY recommend seeking medical attention.You don't want to end up having half of your glute taken out due to a giant infected abcess.

Huck is exactly right...The warm/hot compress will get the blood flowing in the area...if that doesnt work, head to the doctor.

But if it were my ass...err Glute, it would already be at the doctor's office for a comprehensive exam. Screw that. Not to be an alarmist - but if there is an infection it needs attention pronto.

And if it is an infection that is causing that big of a reaction - chances are there isn't an oral regiment of Anti-Biotics that is going to due it justice. It may require IV anti-biotics and a lancing.

Not to downplay, but this is how my last glute injection went as well (the last time I shot glutes).

I was shooting a higher concentration product and probably shook the needle around a bit trying to twist back and shoot my glute. I really think the combination of higher concentration products and not holding the needle still causes this infection (I've had it on my delt once too).

Got all red, warm, etc. I immediately started a course of Zithromax 3-day (5-day will work as well), and it cleared right up.

On something like this, timing is extremely important. The Z-max hits hard and fast. Do you know what type of antibiotic you're buddy is getting you?

Realistically, you need to go to a doc if this doesn't clear up straight away or if it worsens to any degree. If you get Z-max on board right away though, it might make it go away. You'd know within a half day or so ...

I don't do any sites now that I can't control perfectly (aspiration and injecting) and I use 25s to shoot with now too. Quads and chest are the only places I shoot now.

ok i took some advil, hot jacuzzi, put some p7 and bengay on there....used one of them vibrator massgae thingys' feels alittle looser. still hurts but i'm going to be using the heating pad off and on tonight. and we'll see what it looks like in the morning

Ok, what you have is a STERILE absess. You won't need to go to a doctor or have it lanced or take antibiotics. Just do what Huck said with the heat and massage - yeah.. I know it hurts like hell, but trust me.. it works - and give it a couple of days. You may soon feel like you have a fever. That is the norm.

...the scar tissue issue is one I have brought up and maybe applicable...

Look guys - anything that is 400 mg will be between 20-30% Benzyl Alcohol to keep it in solution.....if you intens on using it get some eq at 50 mg to dilute with - but then you are back to 200 mg per cc.


A friend bakes his QV 250 and lost over 2 cc's.....yep - 20%.

NO need to get it lanced yet - the swelling form scar tissue or ba will go down within a week

I had the same thing happen to me.
Part of the reason was i did not inject deep enough into the muscle. I was in a rush at the time and the injection went into the fatty tissue.
In a couple of days the area will probley become very itchy . The heating pad and cloth worked great for me. Good luck.

if the swelling doesnt go down withen a week just stab that bitch with an 18 guage, draw out all the puss and take the antibiotics your buddy gets you. should be fine after that

Inject in a different spot, and perhaps you should use half the amount and inject it twice as many times...(instead of 1 ml of 400 mg juice once a week use 1/2 ml. 2x a week instead...) But aren't you using deca?

yeah i switched to test because i got a new girl and i didn't want to have any deca dick problems....the thing thats sucks is was finding it harder to get an erection after only 3 weeks @600mg on deca. but i liked what iwas seeing in terms of strength and size. but i'm bascially cutting anyway so test @400mg with 1/2 tab femara EOD is just sa well i guess.

ok......so the pain went away in the left glute. shot the right glute and same thing happened only wasn't so bad. still got one of them nice inflammed red hard bumps in my ass. what the hell when i shoot next? i am thinking of doing 1/2 cc in the right delt and 1/2 cc in the left but if 1cc in the glute gave me all that pain i'm affraid i might not be able to type or move my arms after these shots..... any way to kill the pain of this gear? its 400mg/ml test enanthate
