bad glute shot?

has anyone been sore from a glute shot even four days after injection?? its been 4 days and i am still sore as hell. its bearable though. just wandering if anybody has had the same problem? and if so do you just shoot in the same spot again even if its still sore?

yup. Been injecting into glutes for countless times and just last week had one that virtually crippled me. Started in the upper glutes (far away from the inj site oddly) and went into my tailbone/lower back.

Scared me into trying new sites. Still don't know what happened. I work sterile, the inject itself was painless as usual, but the soreness crept in on day three and peaked a week later. Could barely get into and out of my car. Took a week to recover from.

Sometimes it just happens, I guess.

But avoid NSAIDS such as ibuprophen even though they are the best at pain relief and swelling. Studies have shown that they slow the healing of the muscle. Only real painkillers and light duty help to heal it properly and quickly.

it just seems if you hit the wrong spot every once in a while it hurts like hell later
