What do you think:

Lat Pull Down
Cable seated row
Side lateral lifts
BB Press
Front lateral lifts
Upright row
Shrugs
Deadlifts

Should chin-up be there?

I hope thats not the order your going to do those exercises? Start with back first and deads and yes chins are very good for your back..you should put up how many sets and your rep range and goals to get better responses..i would do this
deads
chins
lat pulls
rows
side later
bb press
front raise
uprights
shrugs

No mate it wasn't in any order I was just gonna decide that at the gym, but I guess O dont have to now :)

for back, i do:

bent over rows
deads (various grips)
shrugs
weighted chins

shoulders:

ohp
face pulls, or a movement of the same sort with dbs for posterior delts

lat pulldowns and cable rows are uselesss unless you've already got a decent back. Focus on pull-ups/chin-ups and various rowing exercises for your basic mass.

I have been doing:

Military Press
Lying lateral raise
Deads
Pull ups
Shrugs
Low Row
Seated Rear laterals
Bent over Rows

Let me know what you think. It has worked real well for me since I switched everything up and started this about 6-7 months ago. This is the order that I follow on a shoulder / back day.

thanks, great help, just got back from the gym now and I think it's worked cos it hurts so that's good.

sorearms I'm still working on the rest of 'my new and improved routine' and will post it up in a couple of hours for everyone to rip it apart.

lats
cable or barbell rows

bb press
side lateral raises (only go parallel to floor)

AMAZES ME how many people totally neglect the rear delt............

I hear ya bro..i think its more because we cant see how we look from the back..plus i think alot of people say they hit traps and back and thats good enough...every delt w/o im hitting those rear delts..theyre harder to grow..sucks lol

Anyone have any comments on my usual back / shoulder routine? Just looking for some input for myself and maybe others.

And yes, I always pay respect to the rear delt.

So, what do you advise for those muscles ?

For rear delts:

seated and bent over with legs out in front of you (weights should touch beneath role thighs) and KEEP YOUR ARMS AS STRAIGHT AS YOU CAN. Dont go to heavy. KEEP GOOD FORM.

OR

laying on stomach on a bench at 30 degree anlge, let dbs dangle down and wishbone your arms out, elbows will bend a little on these to really focus the weight on your rear delts.

sets: 4x10 go up 5lbs/set or do 2 sets of 10 with the same weight, then do 2 more sets with a higher weight.
