Ive heard mixed things about high BA/BB causing pain...I understand that if its high, its gonna hurt...I am using UG gear that is supposed to be top notch....the Test E has 1% BA and 15% BB I beleive and the EQ has 1%BA...sound about right? I heard something about EQ needs at least 3% BA to be sterile which doesnt make sense to me because this gear is supposed to be really good....I dont wanna go throwing the name of the lab around also the lot # is the same on the test and EQ is this typical?

BA serves two purposes: 1) sterility (requires at least 1%); and 2) suspend hormone-this is where the variation comes in. You are right about it not making sense. 3% BA is no more sterile than 1 or 2% BA, the extra BA is needed for the purpose of dissolving and suspending the hormone. As far as BB, it is used also for suspending the hormone but it does not hurt nearly as much. (It can't be used by itself bc it's sterilizing properties are << BA.) Your better compounds will have BA:BB in a 3:1 ratio.

The 3% BA to keep EQ sterile you probably got from one of my posts. This is my own personal practice since 3% BA doesn't hurt in the least and I know it will keep the gear sterile even if there's some minor contamination from poking the pin through the rubber stopper.

You normally see the higher contents in gear that is higher in potency, ie:500mg per mL and such as it is needed to keep the gear suspended. When I have my guys make Primo they can squeeze in 200mg/ml and it usually tests out at about 212mg/ml, but if they attempt 250mg/ml it usually crashes and seperates using the same amount of ba and oil. Like the other post says, sterility is a non factor after the first 1%
