anyone in the aviation security business? mainly airport security. I have a few Qs for a class im taking.

I did aviation security as part of my degree, but im not in the industry, so dont know how much help I can be

well u might have alittle to say: as an airport manager of an air carrier airport what are your responsibilities regarding security

Im not too sure, I did my paper on inflight security, but there are some good books covering airport operations and security:

Ashford, N. J. (1997). Airport operations (2nd ed.). New York: McGraw-Hill.

Moore, K. C. (1991). Airport, aircraft, and airline security (2nd ed.). Boston: Butterworth-Heinemann.

I read through them when I was doing my paper but dont remeber what they said regarding airport operations as it was off topic for me. While they are both pre 9/11 they both should have enough info to get you going in the right direction.
