First, let me address your fascination with "REVERSE DISCRIMINATION," which is just silly to begin with. All of your threads seem to relate to how whites are being mistreated by African-Americans. Funny fascination you have here.
Secondly, THIS IS A GREAT DECISION. I don't care if the officer was on the force for 30 years. If you are a racist you a racist. This has nothing to do with the amount of time you've spent on your job. Racism has been put down in its appropriate place-----down in the trenches, where it will stay. This message sends a loud message: no matter how much time you've spent on your job, if you are a racist, you are "outta here."
Third: People dislike their families all the time. It's obvious that being married to an African-American woman hasn't enlightened the officer at all......Simply because he is married to an African American woman says nothing about him not being a racist...............Many racists have ties to the African American community.
As the old saying goes, "covert racism is much more dangerous than overt racism." Cleary, the officer's wife didn't realize she was married to a racist. However, because of this brave opinion she now does.
Long live the Civil Rights Struggle and employers, such as here, who have the balls to stand-up and say "Enough is enough."........................Martin Luther Kind is smiling down at us all.......
