I was mountain biking about 3 weeks ago, when I jumped off a small rockface into another. It was like a 15ft jump. Well, both shocks and brakes of my Schwinn failed and I was catapulted onto my shoulder about 10ft away. The skin was pretty much scorched, and the shoulder bone sufferred a small stresss fracture, but I thought that if I wrapped it up in gauze and put some anti-biotics on it I could still train. Well, I've tried for 2 weeks and the pain is unbeareable. So, I decided to let it heal for 2 weeks. Once healed, I can re-start training normally. Doctor pretty much told me the same thing.
