A few months back there was a thread explaining catabolism and that "amonia-type" smell that can serve as a warniong for this. The thread was great, and explained everything in full scientific detail about precicely what the smell was, etc...I was hoping to be able to pull that thread back up so I could print it out. The info as awesome, and was so detailed...the topic came up in a recent conversation.

just run a search on "ketosis". the ammonia breath doesnt mean catabolism of muscle per se, it actually means elevated ketone bodies.
