Not to be the compassionate one, but before everyone starts ripping this guy and how much money makes, let's not forget that he just died and his wife and kids will now be without a husband and father

good point TD...my prayers go out to his family...but I honestly think he brought it upon himself.

I agree, this is becoming increasingly frquent with football players dying of heat stroke during summer workouts. 3 college players died in Florida this year. Shows the importance of H2O...

Right on Thick!@!

I've been the guy to meet the wives in the hospital before and tell them what's up..........sucks.

Today right now in our foundry it 130+...I won't let them get a thermometer that goes higher. At some point it doesn't matter anymore. All those guys out there will put at least 5 gallons of Gatorade.

Yeah it sucks that he died but what the hell was he thinking?? throwing up 3 times in what was probably hot weather....Duh common sense would have told the avg person "oh Damn this shit aint right" Hell After throwing up once Those trainers should have been checking him out.

Who wants to bet his faimly will file a wrongfull death suit against the organization??

So people should have multi-million dollar salaries because they are stupid enough to crash into each other 500 times every day?

If that's true, why don't we pay military servicemen hundreds of millions of dollars a year during wartime because they are out there dodging bullets?

Here's a better solution. Why don't we pay people based on what their jobs are worth?

Crashing into people 500 times a day is not worth more than a 5 digit salary. Sorry.

Hmmmmmm maybe because not many people want to go watch military servicemen dodge bullets.... and if they do they will go watch them be re-enacted by Tom Hanks and let him earn $20 Million for the 2 - 3 hour film.

What is worth anyway? What someone is willing to pay for something or someone right? Well since an average crowd at any given football stadium is going to have 50 - 70,000 people that paid $25 - $225 to get in and watch them "crash into people" I guess they are worth it. 500 times per day might be a little much though. And BTW.. the ones that usually make the most money are the ones that avoid those crashes.:D

It's called competitive nature. Sometimes it gets in the way of common sense.

More compassion is definitely in order. i don't think someone should be blamed for dying. They died. I see no reason to berate and insult someone for dying. Regardless of the reason.
