"Why do old ladies Croshe' versus Nit? Is Nitting adying art? What should we do about it?
Statistics dont expalin why Nitting is a dying art. Experts are baffled."

When one compares the numeric toll of this issue compared to broader over all economic and political issues which by definition affect a larger population I would say yes.

In the US the media likes to focus on personal individual issues and the pshychosis that comes with that. Its great for the individual consumer culture and is great at seperating people from one another especially good to keep the ruling class in power.

Have you ever seen the BBC or classic PBS shows on political and economic issues? ask your self which does more of a public service ?

Don't over intellectualize this. That is like saying the cure for cancer and the people that die from it are no big deal because we as a world populous have bigger fish to fry.

This happens to be of interest to ME, I have a son that I would like to see play the sport one day if he is willing, but if there is something isolated to children playing sports and how they are being driven to do so I would have to have second thoughts on the matter. I myself have played a single season on the practice squad of a Pro team, and still play Semi-Pro ball, I am wanting thoughts and info. on this matter, I would like to know if anyone can shed light on the issue. I really don't need the "yearbook answer" from someone that just does not see this as an importance in their world. This is a growing concern in sports world wide and I for one would like to be informed as much as possible, as I am not willing to orphan my son.

Granted, I am concerned with national and world issues, however, whats happening in my backyard affects me just the same.
