Assembling a Weider home gym...

This was a project.

Even the bench was a bit of a project.

Did I mention that this was a project?

Not unhappy with it but assembling it was a project.

Also....only came with 250 pounds of weight. So it isn't a manly man set yet.

But it has a lot of stations so to speak:
pull ups
dips
butterfly/pecs
squat
leg curls/extensions
bench...a nice one really
curl station
seated row
lat pulldown
to name most of them

assembling it is a project

I hate buying stuff that needs assembling, especially when it comes with the new directions that only has pictures and no written instructions. :(

When I first finished my basement I got one of those multistation gyms. It took about 3 -4 hours to assemble. A lot of shit to put together. lol I had it for one day and took it back apart to return it. lol

Now I have free weights and benches everywhere instead. The multigym thing was'nt sturdy enough for my taste.

I always expect lols and disdain from this crowd.

Glad your home gym is paying off so well with the after pics.

Nice work.

Hey, at least I tried it. Would have been nice because the thing sat at one end/almost corner of the room. That would have left a lot more space for me to use for other stuff.

Maybe it was the pulleys or something, it just did'nt feel right. It had the verticle Bench Press, lat pulldowns that I could'nt extend my arms all the way up with... Stuff like that.

Most of them are pretty darned amateurish. But so is a lot of gym gear.

This one is pretty good.......for a home gym though.

It takes about 8-10 hours for assembly in my estimation. Unless you like to throw shit together.

I got real tired of the locker room scene. Felt like I was having my picture taken some of the time.

This is no sh*t. If they would add pics it would cut assembly time in half.
