Aspiration

I usually inject into my quad. I tried my first glute shot yesterday and guess what? I must of moved the needle after I aspirated because the next thing I knew was a hot feeling going up my side. I stopped and aspirated again and there was blood. So I went back to my quade. How many people has this happend to?

never happened to me. ive never actually aspirated and seen blood before but i doubt it would happen in my glute. not as many veins.

It is possible. Just remove and shoot somewhere else, like you did.

similar thing happend to me just last night. after initial jab i jumped a little then when started injecting i jumped so far i pulled the pin out. just cleaned up the blood and re-injected. scared the hell out of my g/f (she gives the shots).

It just kind of scared since I never shot in my glute and the first time that happend. I never thought I could do it since I'm not to flexible. It was actually pretty easy until I hit the vein.

if you jumped uncontrollably you probably hit a nerve. i've never done that nor have i ever drawn blood... guess i've been lucky so far

tonight i did an injection in my biceps there was some tiny bubbles of bloods coming but not a flow of blood then i inject the stuff.

i rarely hit a vein...i prefer glute region as well.
