Aspirating

I injected 250mg today of Test e. I just started my cycle on Monday, and this was my second injection into my outer quad. My last injection went great into my right outer quad, and today I went into my left. My question is, when I aspirated the plunger wasn't pulling back easily so I pulled harder and it shot up like almost a whole cc on the syringe. It was full of bubbles and I didn't knew whether to pull it out or just inject, so I injected it and everything went alright...but for future knowledge, can you aspirate too much and need to redo?

I've always had my girlfriend pin for me in my glute, so I'm new to doing it myself.

The "bubbles" you see should actually be vacuum in the syringe (no air).

When you let go of the plunger it should have returned to its original position without any help due to the negative pressure from the vacuum. If it was air it wouldnt do that, because there would be no pressure difference.

Also I know from my own experience that some injections require a little more back pressure to pull the plunger back and aspirate and when you do that with more pressure it can move quickly, resulting in the plunger moving farther than intended and more "bubbles" or vacuum

Again with the fucking new guys injecting long ester test in the quads..... Why? This is stupid. Why not just inject your glutes where there are no veins to worry about.

Because I have no one to inject for me right now and I'm not flexible enough to pin my own glute?

It didn't go back down on it's own though.

My flexibility sucks ass and hittin my outer upper glute is cake. I see people all the time sayin someone needs to do it for them and I don't get it.
Anothrr option for people which I'm gonna try as well is Ventro glute at least when with my next injectable cycle.

It's really not that I need someone to do it, but I did my outer quad and it was the easiest inj I've ever had..and it wasn't sore the next day so why not?? This really has nothing to do with where I'm doing it, I would aspirate in my glute too so I'm not really sure why y'all are suggesting I do my glute.

^^^^^ Thank you!!!

Quads have alot of potential for issues. Hitting nerves, big blood vessels, all kinds of shit. Just too much hassle with long esters. Even with a short ester like prop its not needed. You can rotate delts and glutes. Imho quads should be saved for when you need ED pins and then you have 6 spot rotation.
Do whatever you want obviously but its definatley the touchiest spot out of the "standard" locations.

Yea, well thanks for the advice..but I can only get 1" needles right now and it will be like 2 more weeks until I can get 1.5"...so I think quads are just easiest for me right now.

the problem with injecting into the quads is newbs (and even guys who have been doing it years) will look down and think they are injecting the right spot but really they go in too low on the leg towards the knee.. this area is full of trouble.

if you want to inject the quads stand up and draw 2 lines going vertical and horizontal across the upper leg from the knee to hip. you want to hit the OUTER UPPER part of the square. too many guys go in too low.

also you want to learn to hit other areas, the pecs are a piece of cake, so are the delts.. you don't need your gf to pin you ever, do it yourself and do it right.

as far as aspirating i don't do it, we can have a 30 page thread argueing about it but i haven't done it in years. more often than not if you aspirate then inject and pull out you can still knick a vein on the way out so aspirating is pointless to me. and i rarely ever seen blood anyway cause i know where to inject. if you keep injecting the same places over and over you will build up scar tissue very quickly, not good at all.. so you better learn to find new places

These guys do make some great points about the injections. Glutes would definitely be the least problematic area you could pin, though I know some people (including myself) like to do quads because of having more control of the needle since you can use two hands....one for stability and one to aspirate/inject. I get less pain in the quads than when doing a one handed injection in the glutes. I literally can't even tell I did an injection after doing one now. I enjoy the pain free aspect.

Everyone has different preferences for what they do and like. It comes down to what is the best way for you to do it that gives the least problems that you are comfortable with.

Yea I see what you are saying, and I was planning on switching it up, my glutes already have scar tissue built up and I will probably end up switching between glutes and quads. I might add delts but idk about that I've never done it or seen anyone do it. Plus, my quad injects have been completely painless.

Yea man I loved pinning my quads it was completely painless and I just like having more control over everything. I know I could reach my upper outer glutes but it wouldn't be comfortable.

Ok I think I get what you're sayin.. if you stand up and flex your quad, and drew a symmetrical cross on ONLY your outer quad muscle..would it still be in the upper outer box? (box closest to where you would pin glute).
Sorry I would just much rather use my quads in my rotation and I want to make sure it's in the perfect spot.

I was freaked out a while back when Steve said pecs. Then I tried it. Holly crap. So freaking easy. Now it's in my rotation. 6 spots to choose is great. If I can get my big ass to yoga. Might be able to bend around and get the glute. It's just so much easier to see what I'm pinning.

Damn man idk...I believe you I just don't think I have the balls to try it. I don't have the biggest pecs either so I don't know if that would be best for me.

Dont see why ppl are busting his balls because he injects his quads!! Quads are simple to do and painless for me! And also ever see the ppl on YouTube running test the transgender ppl ye nearly all of them pin quads come off your high horse and stop bitching about where other ppl pin worry about your own pinning

Do Ya Thing Boi, Fuck What They Lookin At!!

Hahaha this^^^

Alright, so tomorrow is my next pin day and I'm going to do my right outer quad again. I was wondering if I could get some more info on EXACTLY where to pin... Stevesmi said to draw the lines earlier in this thread^, but I never got my question answered about how far up you pin. So could someone please try to clear this up; if you stand up and flex your outer quad, and drew a symmetrical cross on only the muscle, which box would you pin into?
Any help would be awesome

Dude go on YouTube. Wish I wasn't running out door. Grad kid posts up a simple and nice way. And try a shoulder so easy and painless. Pecs a sweet too. Will post link when I get back if nobody beats me to it.
