AS and sexual side effects

redlorid

New member
I finished my first cycle a little over a month ago. I have been off of clomid for about 2 weeks and my sex drive has gone way down. I only feel like having sex about once a week. It is really starting to piss my girlfriend off. She has even questioned if I am seeing someone else. Has anyone else had this problem? And how long does it take for it to go away?

hee,hee.

Sorry, dude don't me to laugh. But sexual side effects are the number one sides associated with anabolics. When you jack up your test levels you want sex all the time when they crash you never want test.

Just tell you girlfriend that you were juicing and now you are having problems, which will pass with time. Or you could start juicing again.

Good luck

I feel your pain bro. I have been of my cycle for about a month now. My sex drive is extremely low. Hell, even internet porn doesn't get me excited anymore, but on the bright side, maybe I needed to give my arm a rest after that test cycle:p

thanks, I will start taking the clomid again tonight.
Also I have been taking l-dex. Is this a side effect any of you have experienced from this?

any more opinions on if starting clomid again will help this? i have the same prob except i've been off(fina/prop) for a few months now and still extremely low sex drive. :bawling:

Having once suffered massive loss of sex drive due to prolonged AS use, i sympathise entirely.
Ultimately the only real solution for re-establishing endogenous testosterone function is time off AS. In my case it took over six months and was a full year before it became "normal" (regular sex and at least one wank daily)
However, i have found several products to be of use is assisting re-establishment of natural test. Clomid and provirion are the staples, used for the last 10 and 14 days of your cycle respectively (bearing in ming the half lives of the AS you've been taking) and the use of a good TT supplement in conjunction with DHEA is about all you can do to help things along.
The only real solution is time off though....

You may be interested to know that during an AS cycle, Brian Batcheldor recommends a product used to treat prostate cancer, know as Buserelin or Suprefact. It acts but down regulating LH production, but also exhibits a blunting effect on the suppression caused by exogenous androgens, therfore creating a superior rebound effect post cycle, when the drug is dicontinued.

It can however, cause sterility (as can excessive use of HCG) so is not without it's risks as well.
Again the safe option is more time off between cycles....
