Arnold EF Meetups: Fri & Sat

OK I've set up the following to get as many people together as possible in the same places as I know everyone has their own schedules and staying all over the city for this big event!

PM me if you can make it!

*Note - if you are driving I have no idea how parking works in that area...

Saturday afternoon at the Expo:
3 pm outside the Expo ticket booth, first set of doors that lead into the MARTIAL ARTS AREA of the Expo (NOT the bodybuilding area - they are all part of the same convention area but the MARTIAL ARTS part is the first set of doors you can go in on the right side).

Any chance of another or a little later for the people getting there later on Saturday? I hope to get there by 3pm. But???

Is there VIP parking or a valet service? I could never find a close place to park. I told some people I could give them a ride back to hotels, because I have a big vehicle.

I have no idea at all. I never drive in Columbus. You can call the Gordon Biersch for details about that area.


The point of this schedule is just to get as many people together as possible. I'm not Julie the Cruise Director so I'm hoping if you know people who are coming in or aren't there yet, you can communicate things to them. The thing for the Arnold on Saturday -- again - no idea when people are getting in. When we meet up in the expo we can maybe come up w/ another place to hang out after the expo closes or something - but I don't know who is going to the night shows or who wants to go train or whatever so I can't guess what's a good schedule. We can figure somethign out there.

You can PM me your name & contact info & I can at least give you a heads up on anything if you can't meet at 3 pm.
 
Ok, just got back from Columbus...I now know what cattle feel like.

Stood around the correct escalator...no luck. It's not like there was a EF banner for people to come to, and the hell if I was going to walk up to people and ask if they too were internet geeks :). So I missed you guys. Maybe next year, lol.

The biggest positive I got from this expo? Being completely humbled. Dear God, at 6' 240, I felt like an absolute dwarf. Did anyone see House at the Animal exhibit? LOL, wft, how does someone get 23" calves?

Sorry man - I stood outside the expo door for 10 min at 3 pm on Sat -- I wanted people to PM me to get their phone numbers so - yea it was kinda hard to know where to get people to meet up at.
 
I guess look the next couple days when people get home. Long drive in the winter. I gotta figure out how to download from my new camera ...
 
Just got back from the Arnold..Holy shit, what a well-run show!!! Best pro show I've ever gone to by far!! I missed you guys at the meet ups..it was non stop all day and night!!! What a great time though...Hung out with so many cool people...Monica Brant & Scott,Jay Cutler and Kerry, Gregg Valentino,John Romano...took photos for an upcoming issue of MD...so cool...

Branch Warren got FUCKED...total joke..crazy VIP parties...jeez......LOL

HOLY Calves!! I couldn't stop starring at all the massive calves around me. hah. (i'm a leg gal) *drools*

I was in the Animal cage alot this weekend. Did you see Sam Byrd squat? (dood who squatted 900lbs on Friday?)

yeah i know. He trained with Goggins who I saw squat the world record (at that time) of something like 1100 squat at the 2003 Arnie.

Anywho, no I was thinking of a different Sam. Sam McMahon - pro Strongman. So many Strong Sams, so little time.

Sorry, I missed you bro. It would have been cool to see a few people from here. I was a little late, and was giving my friend's girls directions to the Convention Center while I was looking for the meet up.

Next, time you have to stay over. We had a blast hanging out Sat. Night. Then, we decided to go back Sun.

Were you one of the two very good looking girls in short dresses standing by the mixed martial arts door and woman's restroom? They were getting their pics taken by alot of different people. By the time I got off the phone, and got over there they left. I asked the two black guys who got several pics with them if they or the girls were from Elite. They said. "No, we just like hot musclular white chicks." I said. "I do to!!" lol

Nope I was in green khaki pants & a tank top & no pictures. Maybe next time. :)
