Armed and Dangerous - just bought AK-47

shoot straight

i'm a pretty good shot. could always use improvement, but i'm pretty good overall. best i did on the USMC range was 42 out of 65 possible points with 50 rounds. that was 200, 300, and 500 yard shooting, open sights, and included 2 strings of rapid fire. 40 points was considered expert.

I've got deadly accuracy with my handgun (Makarov, Russian 9mm). from 15 yards i can place 9 out of 10 rounds into an area the size of the average persons chest in about 30 seconds.

what do u do with an AK 47??????
u cant deer hunt or squirrel hunt with it

There is something that can be done with guns other than shooting living creatures. Have you ever shot a gun? If you had, you would know that shooting a gun is a hell of a rush. It's a whole load of fun. I would assume that he is planning on target shooting of some sort...

My dad owns alot of guns, from 22 pistols to muzzle loaders......i think he actually has 2 muzzle loaders.....but no ak 47.
He has a double barrel shot gun that i shot one time......bruised the crap out of me....guns just scare me

:worried:

I'll get you that salsa Right away!! :runs out door to drive 4 hours:

The Ak-47 is pretty much had the longest production run of any assault rifle and is extremely tolerant of bad climate conditions.

The only thing about them is they are machined loose so that they donlt jam as much and can fire under crappy conditions meaning they aren't very accurate. But if you can shoot halfway decent then you can rip someone up probably pretty good up to 50 yards out. I know it shoots further, but for reasonable accuracy.

Good thing to have. You never know when you might wish you had one. Same goes for a good handgun, shotgun and hunting rifle.

I love it how people bash guns and are anti-gun and don't seem to realize that without them, we wouldn't be alive and well today living here in the good 'ol U.S of A for a myriad of reasons.

50 yards? 200-300 unscoped is more like it. the range i go to has a 200 yard line and i plan on using it for slow controlled shooting. iron sights won't bother me either.

Now you got yourself an accurate handgun and a rifle that can be used for accuracy or spray-and-pray shooting. Gotta get yourself a nice shoulder-fire for closer quarters next: H&K MP5!

(yeah...they're pricey...but a guy can dream, can't he? Best weapon I've ever fired)

MP5 are cheap. 1500$ for a new one. Problem is, H&K doesnt want them to be sold to civilians (german law forbids H&K) so dealers must agree with such clausee in their contract.

I've seen knockoffs at that price, but never the real deal. I guess that explains the extreme markup on the grey/black markets. Thanks.
