I'm going with Forest over Tito. Fighters are normally not as good after being gone for a while. Take Mark Kerr and Ken Shamrock for instance...Kerr was beatin easily in his first fight back and it seems that Shamrock has forgotten how to win.

Agreed! Everyone hates on Tito because he lost to Chuck, but everybody loses to Chuck ;)

Tito is still one of the better LWH in the world.

Tito is a fucking punk and that is all there is to say about him. One judge had it 30-27 for tito which I believe there is no way tito won all 3 rounds. It could have gone either way

Arlovsky knocked down Sylvia at ~1m30s...Sylvia got up...Arlovsky tried to bring him down again...got sloppy...TKO...

oh ok thanks. my stupid brother told me he was fighting shamrock. i was about to drive my ass over there just to watch since my fucking ppv is out. but i crashed, so i didnt miss anything i cant watch later.
 
how can you NOT like forrest griffin? especially after that incredible display of heart. forrest is soo determined that you can pound his face in again and again and again, and he'll keep coming after you untill his heart is no longer beating. he even said it himself: hes "not the most techinical, not the most skilled" but damn, he makes it look good. I was watching UFC 59 at a bar, and everyone knew Tito was gonna win, and everyone was groaning each time an elbow landed in rd1, but when Forrest got back up , ppl were cheering soo loud the walls shook. What an MMA moment...

Tito won the fight, just not as convincingly as the judges scored it.

Rd. 1 Tito KILLED Forrest
Rd. 2 Forrest won, not nearly as decisive as rd 1 for tito
Rd. 3 You could say they split that round

They are both the same height.30 lbs is nothing to lose or gain to move up or down in class.

matt hughes has never fought Wanderlei Silva . but tito ortiz and Vitor Belfort have both beat Wanderlei.

Luck doesn't earn respect. Not in MY book, anyway. Forrest Griffin lost and he has more respect from me than Tim Silvia. Forrest has heart and balls; that earns him respect from me.

Last I checked I said HEAVYWEIGHTS, not light heavy weights, welter weights, and whatever the fuck weights, but HEAVYWEIGHTS. Pride's top heavyweights are on a whole different level than UFCs.

CMDUBS read this since you missed it the first time. It was a good fight. The guy who should've won did. The guy who everyone wanted to win, myself included, didn't.
 
Great fights! I was amazed to see Andre lose tho. I was really rooting for Griffin too, but he aint gonna lose no decision with all the money ridin on the Shamrock/ortiz fight. Tito would lose all credibility IMO.
