Arimidex SIDE EFFECTS ? ? ?

I'm considering going on TRT after dealing w/ hypogonadism for 2 years after just one deca cycle and a failed PCT.

This may include Arimidex to keep estrogen down. Upon doing some research I've found some info about possible side effects and it sounds a bit nasty. Low sex drive, hot flashes, bone pain, mood disorders, headaches, hair loss, etc.....reminds me of some of the nasty sides I experienced from generic liquid SERMS I tried a couple of years ago. DO NOT want to go through that again if possible .

Granted, much of this info on sides was refering to women and cancer patients, but what about men on or cycles or TRT ? Are these common complaints or do the positive effects of TRT override these ( particularly mood and bone pain) ? Any info would be appreciated

you have to remember most of those sides came from people using much larger dosages than boldybuilders need.

it's been quite some time since i had to use it..but i can't recall any side effects at all.

The side effects are only good. When i'm off cycle and i'm feeling the sex drive dwindle, i pop an arimidex, with great results.

Believe it or not, if you get your estrogen level to low you will have no sex drive at all. Do a shearch and check it out. Just back off the dose, about 1/4th the regular dose is effective in men.

0.5 mg Thursday am and again Sunday pm.
No esto problems at all and no sides.
And this is after 2 years straight.

I just read the email from George a little while ago about Arimidex in which he stated that estrogen actually helps prevent muscle injuries. I had never heard of this before and it caused a light bulb to go off over my head. I have been on Androgel ( 1 pack a day )since it became available several years ago. I have also been taking Arimidex at a dose of .5mg per day for years. These two have kept my test up to a normallevel, and the Arimidex has kept my abnormally high estrogen down to normal levels.

Here's the interesting thing - over the past 5 years, I have had 4 serious musculoskeletal injuries - torn labrum left shoulder, torn labrum and ruptured biceps tendon left shoulder, meniscus tear in left knee, and most recently a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder, for which I'm having surgery in 2 days. That will make my 4th surgery in 5 years. In addition to this, for the past 2-3 years, almost every time i have sprinted all-out, I have torn a leg muscle - have torn hamstring several times, groin a couple times, and my hip flexors a couple times. (I can't just stop sprinting either - it's part of the PT testing for my job I have to do every 3 months).

I have just been chalking this up to old age (I'm 48 now) and bad luck, but what George said has me thinking maybe it's the Arimidex that's been making me so prone to injuries.

Can anyone point me to any addition info on this?
Am I possibly taking too much Arimidex? My doctor is basically guessing at the dosage I think.

Also - it might be a good idea for me to ask George where he got this info so I can find out more - what's the best way to get a hold of him, I didn't see an actual email address for him?
