I couldn't sleep this morning due to the fact I drank way too much coffee at work last night, yep 11pm-7am shift. then I try to get to sleep but i can't and my legs are killing me. so I decide hell go to the gym and then come home and pass out.

tryed ohp with some leg drive, funny thing is unracking the weight was tough on my legs and not my shoulders :( .
so i did 135x6, 185x5 nice and easy no leg drive needed.
225 2x5* pr but I was so tired after this and my legs were fried at the end, basically just did military press for last 3 reps I had to go down to 205 x5. that really pissed me off to no ends

did reverse flyes on a machine which worked out well since I went slow and got a nice squeeze. 100 4x12

close-grip bench 135x8, 225x3, 245 4x6, 135x10 I realize that my tris are my laggin bodypart so I hit them a little extra today

overhead ext db 60x10, 90 2x10

Shurgs 225 4x10 on thicker bar, grip felt good, my thumbs and forefinger couldn't even touch, lol

and some wrist rollers 2x20 reps 75lbs

not too bad next time I am gonna wait until I am fully recovered from squats and get some good sleep.

Damn, what a wuss:rolleyes:

j/k bro. What else did you expect with fucked up sleep man? If I only get 6 hours of good sleep as opposed to 9, I expect a lame-ass workout. If I really screw up my sleep, I call my lifting buddies and bail.

Don't get down on a lift that was effected by sleep man.

I'm trying to get skinny brother, otherwise I'd battle you guys for most plates in 10 minutes...I can eat ALOT!!!

i had a crappy workout too, got within a few inches of locking out on bench, and then lost it, thank fuck for the power rack, i culnt even control it on the way down

i hope that was due to no sleep due to exams, annoying people playing loud music and a firealarm :(

it sucks when you know you have the strngth to do it but just don't have the energy to actually do it, ahh well eating like a mad man and will hit up back tomorrow. BTW quiting work soon so I can train without any interuptions

first time you done the push presses? How did it feel? Did you lower it slowly on the way down?

my legs were so fried the actually hindered my lift IMO. I lowered it probably 1-2 sec on the neg. lockout was strong though

I have felt this way before. There were times when I couldn't sleep, and just said screw it! Then off to the gym I was. Oddly enough, I would have good workouts, but something would just seem off. Well, I have learned my lesson since, a good rest before all workouts!

Get some sleep and rest...I think that you are going to do well on the Viking Press here. Work on that leg drive though...you will need it.
