Are my natural genetics maxed out??

I am only 23, but ive been training since i was 14, training hard since 19. I powerlift, i dont bodybuild, but i dont mind getting bigger obviously. My current stats are 5'9" 190-195lbs 9-10%bf off for 3 months now. My flat bench is 350+ raw, my squat is around 500(thats ass to the grass) with a belt and i deadlift 550+ raw (these are all off cycle btw). Seems to me i do nothing but go backwards when im off. I always do proper pct and have perfect recovery and test is up, estro way down bla bla. Is it possible that ive maxed out my genetics, how many dudes do you see my size moving that weight that are natural? Ive seen ummm...one around my area, my training partner. but he takes superdrol and all that other shit so hes not really natty.

when im on my bench is around 400+, squatting and deadlifting around 600, and my bodyweight is usually around 203-206 (compete 198).

im not saying that im huge or crazy strong or anything, but it is next to impossible for me to hold those numbers without sauce, leading me to believe that im genetically maxed. Is juice the only way to keep progressing?

it's possible, but i really doubt it. Nothing against you, but many people simply don't train as hard, eat as much as they should, or train as consistantly when they are off. I've been guilty of that myself as are many others who claim otherwise.

I would stay clean for a while and really get to know how ur body reacts to different things. (training, eating, different exercises, etc) Let's face it, most of us will not use steroids for the rest of our lives, so you need to learn how to grow w/out them.

Good luck bro.

If you have been doing cycles already and your only 23 now yeh you probably fucked yourelf up!! should not really start doing roid till 23-25 IMO!!
But who knows I know when I was 22 I could bench 395 natuarally squat 475 never deadlifted cause i heirniated a disc when i was 19 but honestly if you are claiming to be a powerlifter how is it you are only 10%bf?? have you seen a powerlifter they are usualy 30-35%bf and weigh a ton you sound like you need to eat more and put on some size!!

why the hell would i want to be obese?

have i seen a powerlifter, um yes i am one and train with several, and noone is 35%bf

have you ever seen sam byrd, or jesse marunde, or mariusz pudianowski

You are crazy strong I have never see someone your size lift that much weight with out gear.

400lb bench press, that’s unreal….

Stay on gear.

Plan a cycle strictly for strength.

Winny

Primo
Fina/Tren Ace

i compete 198 i dont want to get bigger, just stronger. i plan on moving up to the 220's in a couple years

WTF? come on man, you don't want to get bigger, just stronger? well do you want your muscles to grow and strengthen or not? Can't have it both ways

props to u bro those are nice numbers!

ive dealift 500 lbs at 207-10lbs at the age of 20.... i cant imagine how much stronger im gunna be in three years...i did in on and off cycle

when i was a senior in highschool and weighed 185lbs i was doing sets of 225lbs for 25-30 and doing 100 rep light weight leg curls

bench is my weakest. the most ive hit is 365 for one.. that was on test, abombs, and had just started the tren. i was about 215lbs at that time...

for me dead lift and a certain percentage of my max bench is just a mental thing, its doesnt matter if im on or off if ive done it before i know that i can do mentally and there for it doesnt matter if im on or off cycle

you want strength without an increase in muscle size... research a program called "superslow" and try to find a place, then use that program in the gym.... i have never seen the documented increases in strength people on that program have, yet with no increase in size... worthless for most of us, but might be something to think about for you

damn
thats strong as hell
Im 275 @ my heaviest and I hit those numbers in my workouts. I consdier myself extremely strong too. I just got bitched by a dude 80 lbs lighter than me :sulk:

You can go right ahead and say you're strong, remember this is a forum where a 3 plate bench is a big deal :)

I'd say with another 5-10 years natural training you could add some more LMB, get those lifts up and stay lean, provided you don't get injured. The real question is, do you want to stay on for ever or get off the roundabout for good?

I've been in a position where I've come off, lean, pulling 545 for 5 after the crash was over.. if I'd not got hit with a bunch of injuries trying to maintain the strength then I'd have stayed off too. In the long term, it's the best thing to do if you're not a bb-er

edit.. 'superslow' suggested for a powerlifter, LOL.. gotta love this place.

you can break my balls if you like... I understand lifting... the fact is power lifter or not... you NEED to switch shit up sometimes and I have seen first hand the results trained athletes have gotten...

If I suggested HIT instead would that have been ok?... do you know anything about superslow?

unfortunately, yes I wasted some time reading the conjecture on the SSEG and it's completely inappropriate for someone looking to get their total up.. you know why WSB has so much DE work? The idea of trying to explode the bar as fast as possible, speed is king when trying to move big weights.

The whole point of a conjugated system is that you work all the facets of strength development and ME lifts rotate on a regular basis which switches shit up (I'm pretty sure that bossman already uses or has used that system if he's a PLer)

not to bust your balls any more, but it was a poor suggestion for someone who's already reached his level of strength and isn't dealing with major injuries

Fair enough. The suggestion purely came from the fact that 1- he doesnt want to add any weight, only get stronger, 2- football players have used it with great success for increases in explosive strength....

Personally, it holds no value for me, as the whole point of lifting to me is to get bigger. Moreover, it isnt so much the superslow plan per se, I would suggest, it was being able to utilize some of the -time under tension- principles that superslow uses, slow up slow down and continuous movement, that seems to be what creates the increase in muscle fiber strength and efficiency without size increase.

wow dude at 220 that's about my exact lifts also (im 240 now), that's hard pulling and pushing that amount at 198. of course im not as short as you are either.
But as for your questions, you probably will need to keep on juicing to reach higher goals. As for maintaining some of thoughs stats, in my personal expirence your bench will go down but you might be able to maintain a deadlift of 550+, i pulled that without juicing for a year @ 215 ...I dont know what kind of juice you take but you should try tren or anadrol, that always helped with my strength.

thanks everybody for the helpful replies. alot of good bros around here still

more on the subject...

my training is mostly westside and modified westside cycles, with a few raw hi volume/high frequency cycles thrown in when i feel the need. i dont like my gear to do the lifts for me.

solidspine i only use test sometimes throw in tbol or var. i havent grown the balls yet to try drols or tren. i think its safe to say i would be insanely strong after a cycle of test/tren/drol.....hmmmmmm....

twoguns it is possible to get stronger without getting bigger, mainly through strengthening connective tissue, learning to recrute more muscle fibers throughout the lift, and strengthening the smaller assistance muscles.

tweakle thats exactly my thinking, add more lbm in 5-10 years natty....fuck that man lol. and no im not a bodybuilder, but i am a competing powerlifter. that counts for something...right ;)

MTS funny you say that your bench went down but the other stuff stays higher, i noticed the other day that my lower body, back and overhead pressing are still quite high. my bench has dropped about 40lbs though, goddamn that hurts to write that lol

and to the naysayers: please...... i have much better things to do. want to see some videos

and to those curious of my best lifts... 315x9 flat, 380x1 closegrip, 635x2 pinpresses, 135dbx10 150's for 2, 555x1 raw conventional deadlift standing on 4"block (which translates into well over 600 in a suit sumo style), 725x1 lockout from knee level, bent over rows 335x3, easy 605x1 in the hole squat.

i need to bite the bullet and try tren, but abombs are too hardcore for this kid..never after some of the shit ive heard

If you've done dbol then drol isn't that big a deal, really.. tren would probably be better for you but you'd love both of them provided you could deal with the bloat.

My box squat went up 100lbs in a 12 week test/drol cycle, but tren gives me more of a 'snappy' explosive strength which I prefer to the bloated 'tard strength drol gives me.

lol @ bloated tard strength

and no i couldnt deal with the bloat, nor could my family, girls family, or co-workers lol they all already make juice comments

should i add some bd tren at 33mg/day next cycle for like 6 weeks? i will be running only aifm or adex with 5-700mg prop

I don't think it's possible to be maxed out at your age. I'm not nearly as gifted as yourself and I'm still inching along at past 45 yrs. old.
I think one of those roundtable discussions are in order. Why not go to Westside Barbell (or some other place you think is up to the task) and have them dissect your training IQ? You're good enough to get in and you need some in-depth and in person analysis to figure a way to get back on track.

And for all you doubters, here's one of several vids l3ossman's posted:

Great vids, should shut up the doubters.. people who train for the pump are often skeptical of the strength claims power lifters post, because they're not even close to pushing their own potential.

but enough of that :p

what are your previous cycles like bro, you respond well to low doses? If so then 50mg tren ED should be enough crank in your tank to make a difference. I like tren at 100mg ED with 50 mg winny and/or 100mg test (or masteron) for pure strength without overbloat, but I'm a really poor responder to AAS

well here is my cycle history

1. first one at 20... 350mg/wk sus 8 weeks
25mg/d pink thais for 25 days

2. 250mg/wk test E 12 weeks
400mg/wk EQ for 11 weeks
75mg/wk anavar for 6 weeks

3. 550mg/wk andropen for 9weeks
40mg tbol for 4 weeks

4. 350-700mg wk prop for 8 weeks
50mg tbol for 4 weeks

5. started three days ago...

prop 1400mg first week
700mg for ??? as long as i want
have var and tbol leftover so im doing 30mg each for 4 weeks
maybe throw in tren if i grow the balls.

i guess ive responded well each time.. when i started i was 20 165lbs and like 7%bf. i could already bench 315 raw, deadlift 500 and squat 4 and change. so ive made some good progress i guess for the light short cycles i have been running.

sounds like you were in the same place I was before I popped my cherry :)

I rarely use much test these days, it makes me feel hot and sweaty at much over 700mg PW, but tren in higher doses is good stuff. Tbol I feel is more suitable for spring breakers, but if you have it then why not use it.. once it runs out try tren @ 50mg ED and see how that goes for you. be interesting to see your results. Don't expect it to be everything some people make it out to be though, it's just another non-aromatizing roid at the end of the day, just one that really improves your CNS firing.

jesus dude, those numbers are ridiculous...

VERY few people can stack up against that especially natural

i sweat like a pig on test, it doesnt bother me too much though. i do really like tbol, i would use dbol but dont want the bloat or hairloss. Tren it is i guess, ill run it starting at 33mg/day and up it to 50 if all is well. and improving my cns capabilities is what its all about as a powerlifter
