Are men afraid of intelligent women?

nope because women=human, man=human and i am not afraid of another human because they are smarter than me. ignorance/stupidity sort of scares me though.

i also realize that i am not the smartest person in the world and it doesn't bother me. that's why i ask a lot of questions. (philosophy professor loved me for it) just like how i know that i am not the strongest person in the world and that doesn't bother me either.

i also think that intelligent women are super freaking sexy.

I'm a Mensa anyway so I don't run into many girls that are smarter - or anybody for that matter. From my experience we need to divide up "Smart Chicks" into differen't categories:

Pseudo Smart - Pseudo Smart in essence are chicks who work hard to convince others they are intelligent, including theirselves. You can usually spot one (and avoid) via the following characteristics:

- Overdresses - always wearing some loud colorful outfit

- Uses a slooooow drawn out speech pattern, sort of sounds like a bad DJ reading the news

- If you're horny and you have some earplugs handy all you have to do is explain to her how intelligent & beautiful she is and how you just feel more comfortable with her and there seems to be this special energy and blah blah blah blah... She'll be blowing you in no time (that'll keep her mouth shut for a few minutes)

- They have no self esteem and usually fall into the psycho category once you split.

Truly Smart - Nice stable chicks that are fun to be with and talk with.. Of course they're usually pretty damn sensual in bed too!

I've gone out a few super bright chicks, one was a Doctor, another did drug research for Pfizer - both where alot of fun.. The only girls that intimidated me where models since it seemed that whenever I dated a model she was taller than me (I'm 5'8") and had alot of pretty boy friends.. Not easy.. I remember one in particular, she was 6'2" - every time I banged her I felt like I was a little boy and she was my mommy ... Freaky..

depends...in my experience..if they are insecure, then yes. If they are not insecure, then no! They love it!

in my neck of the woods, absolutely not. I am quite proud that I was one of the "smart kids" since I was very small. Most of the people I hang out with are also highly intelligent. I find intelligence to be a very appealing quality, in men and women.

Intelligence is the key to understanding...
Knowledge is power, everything else comes there under..
In personal experience, I believe in a healthy relationship that
both the man and women have to stimulate each other on all levels..
Intelligence is not measured by how much you know or tell, but by how much you can listen and decifer and comprehend from all angles..
Experience is factor that plays strongly...
You can be 25 and extremely booksmart, but not have any common sense or "streets smarts"..
Then again it works the opposite also...
You can have alot of common sense, but no depth...
Very delicate sitiuation, with no one way solution...
Just love them as you see them...

I know this landscaper that I guess is attractive - not my taste per say - but nothing to turn your nose up at either.

So he's 47 and in fabulous shape and keeps himself in GQ style 24/7 and he will only date women under 26 and when he finds a new one (he replaces them when they get too old) he takes total control of their lives. He tells them what to eat, what to wear and how and when to work out.

His current hottie is an *aspiring massage therapist* - I aspiring because after three years of massage school she's like an actress that has never acted (in public) but moves a whole lotta dishes around. (I know I know I sound like total bitch right now - but I really do like her - she's a thick between the ears but she does light up a room and has a body you'd want to eat food off of - preferably sushi.)

Anywho - the point is there are men (less than more) that go for younger less life experienced woman because they are easier to manipulate but no necessarily stupid.
