Are all Doc's idiots?

I understand what you are saying but in my case it is the doc who is the idiot. SHe never even tested for free testosterone, she just went off the total test reselts. Secondly, she had me on four pumps daily Androgel, when I told her my nipples hurt she bumped me down to 2 pumps daily. She did this without even knowing the results that were achieved from 4 pumps daily! $ pumps may have not been enough and she bumped me down to 2? When I mentioned anti E's, she kinda blew me off because I could see she had no idea what I was talking about. I go back in 2 weeks and at that point I plan on telling her to refer me to an endo! :p

call a local compounding pharmacy and ask who is most knowledgable in male TRT. You will have an experienced doc right off the bat. They can even narrow it down by insurance providers.

I hear you man, it's hard to shoot darts in the dark without testing and see the real numbers. My doc tests for a lot more than total test though

My first doc did the song and dance, then I saw a good endo who specializes in TRT. 1 week after my first visit when my bloodwork came back I walked out of the office with a script for pins and test. She was very well informed and gave me the option.

So, I goto the Doc today and tell her my nipples are really tender from the gel. So, instead of prescribing injects, she says to cut the dose in half. So, instead of 4 pumps now she wants me to do only 2. I then proceed to tell her how the gel is affecting me hanging with my girl and playing with the godchildren, trying to convince her of injects. She says she has to prove the Gel failed to my insurance then maybe goto injectables. We talked a lil more and she told me she isn't comfortable letting me do my own injects so I will have to come to the office for them.

I may just make an apointment with an Endo to see what he says!

All you need is 0.25 mg of adex twice a week and your problem is gone.

"I am sure you work for free??"

Being a doctor of medicine is not just about a paycheck it's a way of life, it's a social status and a responsiblity. Doc's who abuse patients and their respective insureance plans should be reported for fraud.

It's funny the lady doc said she had to prove th e gel didn't work before she could do injections. That is TOTAL BS. As the GEL is hundreds more than the single shots. My Doc wanted to give me gel but thought my insurance wouldn't cover it but it did so I got the gel. I'm going to get the shots now as the gel hasn't changed all that much.

But it's funny because my Doc basically said the exact opposite thing inregards to insurance. DROP her and go to someone that you can have a better repour with. Remember she works FOR you , you HIRE her for a specfic reason. If she donesn't meet the standards that you have go somewhere else.

Oh and almost everyone I know that's on TRT does the shots themselves AT HOME. It's NOT asking a doctor a lot to do the shots yourself. It's not anymore dangerous than someone who has diabeties who pins theirselves. Think about it for a second. diabetics don't go in everday to get their shots do they? Same damn thing. But I have to agree with you that some Doctors are fools and don't know the first things about AAS or HRT or TRT. IMHO

The problem is all doctors are crooks! Their wallet is more important than your health.
And if a person does not have insurance then they are really screwed and have to find meds on their own
and are now risking legal issues and health issues.
Find a new doctor, maybe someone can refer you someone that will at least give you what you need instead
of trying to sqeeze every dollar from your insurance.
Just my thought on this.
