Anyone use "e-gold" to pay for things online?

WTF is the deal with this place? the pharm i am dealing with wants payments by this site, or by bank transfer. online is much easier of course, but i was wondering what e-gold is all about, and how they get the money from you to pay....CC?, bank account?........

I send them a money order that is credited to my account within 36 hours ( I send M.O. Priority mail with delivery conf.) Once My account is credited I log in and send payment from my account over to the business. Put your account name, number, and e-mail address you used to open the acount with on the M.O.

the goddamn place won't let me sign up for some reason. but when i am able too........i can't use a CC or my bank account to route the money to them? that is pretty f'd up. sending MO is a PITA, probably better to go to my bank and fight with them to get it done. its always a project doing anything with a bank.

Its actually cheaper than W.W. transfers.
You gotta send a money order to an egold company, then they deduct 6% for them and fund your account.
You then log on to your egold account online and send the money to the persons account number.

Thats what I thought at the beggining also but I figured instead of paying 10-11% with western union, I rather send a money order and 6% to this company in FL and have them fund my egold account.
And then you just log on and send it to whoever you want, like paypal.
