I have a feeling you lift heavier and more intensely then me most of the time. I just cruise into it and for the most part just do one all out set to failure per excersize after doing my compound movement training like bench and squats much like a powerlifter.
probably, its a bad habit of mine, even when I am supposed to be coasting I have trouble not piling tons of weight on...means nothing ever heals properly...
I am finally training really light now, but it took all these injuries to get here, when I was bulking last winter I went insane with the intensity and the weights....sad thing is I am old enough to know better
