Now im not looking to get all vascular just say I have a vaie running on my bi, how can I make it thicker and make it comeout more?

What do the guys in the mags do (not talking the roid users, you can tell some are natrual but they got solid THICK vains)

Anyone any input?

From my understanding from what I have read and I am not sure how much of it is true but vascularity (naturally speaking no AAS) and the degree of vascularity one can attain is a genetic thing.

As far as I know its due to:

Genetics - how close are the veins to skin surface

Bodyfat % which can be genetic and diet related

Blood pressure - increased pressure makes the veins more pronounced

vasodilation due to body temp & supplements

I have heard (it could be BS) that super, tri & giant sets force more blood into the muscle, the veins must also increaese in size to carry the greater volume of de-oxygenated blood back to the lungs

Apart from genetics and bodyfat a quick tip to get vascular is glycerol

Try some red wine, it should help :)

Higher reps will force the capillaries to grow to accomodate the blood supply,.......I used to ber totally vein-less......I now have fairly large veins in bis, forearms and shoulders/traps

Alot of it is genetics, I've had crazy veins since I was a kid.

Weight lifting has brought them out more though.

can you elaborate? are you talking higer reps as in 20-rep squats? or as in circuit training with low weights and tons of reps cardio type thing.

Yep!:

nicotine is a vasoconstrictor & stimulant , so you get narrowing of the blood vessels = increase in pressure and an increase in heart rate due to beta stimulation.

Actually carb loading can increase vascularity for when you supercompensate a muscles glycogen stores it swells and the veins are pushed towards the surface and are visible if body fat is low ( but it also still depends on genetics for location of veins on the muscle etc.)

Also carbs, especially simple sugars stimulate insulin which is a powerful vasodilator and can enhance vascularity temporarily when BF is low. Many competative bodybuilders drink soda before getting on stage to get the effect of the insulin on vascualrity.

viens in your traps?

whoa dude... :alien:

Mine come out in the crab pose or during deadlifts. Dont really have those thick veins like some. The ones in the biceps have been out since I started training. I was never real veiny though.

Is that a "ring" on your right arm WalkingBeast???

More like a badly bent piece of metal. That picture is 9 months old, since then Ive removed the arm piercing, it ripped out over time. But Ive added some facial piercings and also the piercing in my neck is still present. ThanX for asking!!

a lot of its genetic and where you store your fat. I can get veins running down my lats to my abs but even when Im that lean I dont have a lot of veins in my legs bc thats where I store my fat.
