anyone know a nice place in new jersey to live?(near kearny)

I know this area well as I live there myself. I very strongly suggest Montclair. It is very near Kearny, nice area, somewhat pricey, but full of activity. Also, there is a train the runs through Montclair/Bloomfield into the city.

west orange and livingston are both nice areas in that area, like i said.....livingston / short hills is more upscale but if you look around you can find a nice townhouse in livingston for somewhat inexpensive. You got one of the nicest malls in jersey right there too

no i was actually offered an electrical engineer job in kearny. right now i live on long island and i dont know jersey. and this post although you might think it doesnt belong here is helping me a ton. thanks alot guys. all your suggestions are very appreciated. i used to frequent this board alot as #1stunna but my s/n doesnt work anymore.

true. Harrison is nice, west orange, Kearny really isnt bad at all, livingston, Lyndhurst, etc.

manalapan is about a 45 minutes bus ride from the port authority with no traffic which barely ever happens.it costs about 250 or so a month to commute by NJ transit bus. great town but very pricey

How much are you looking to spend on a house or to Rent ? do you plan on sending your kids to private or public schools ? where do you intend to work ? do you own a car ? how do you feel about living next to other ethnicities ?

I'm all for posts that are off topic somewhat because this board gets the most traffic. Training, supps, diet, all kinds of questions that may not seem to belong here to others. This is should be moved though. If you're gonna move others psots indirectly related to BB, then this one should be moved as well.
