anyone know a nice place in new jersey to live?(near kearny)

i know this is a long shot but does anyone know of a nice town in jesey? just west of manhattan. i have to move to an area near newark(kearny to be exact). i know newark is a ghetto but i need somewhere to raise a family in that area.
