How tough is the curriculum?? I'm thinking about pursuing this, but I'm not sure. Also, what was the GMAT like? Is a 450 a tough score to get?

It's going to take 19 classes for an M.B.A. for me and I don't know if it's worth it......

It's a rehash of everything you took as an undergrad if you are and accntg or finance major. If your a managment major you should have just jerked off for four years and an MBA will help you out.

JUST DO IT!!!!

The economy is going to suck for at least another 18 - 24 months.

The MBA course is actually only 11 courses, but my undergrad was in engineering so I have no business background so I have to take 8 classes as a base. I'm not sure how tough it will be with no previous business background, but I am sick of engineering......

Shouldn't be that big a deal given your engineering background. Go for it.

I'm in the process of getting my ME undergrad degree and plan on going on to get both my Law and MBA degree. I have already recieved my 2-year degree in Business so i don't have to take the "core" classes. The money is WELL worth the time and if you can go through the challenge of getting a engineering degree then a MBA will be a cake walk. NO LaPlace transforms, summing forces, equations describing flow, linear algebra or any shit like that. With the backgroung an engineering major gives you in math the MBA will be no problem.

How is the GMAT?? Is is a joke or a pain?

It's a little of both. It's all multiple choice and computerized now too which is cool. Back in my day I had to go take a test with a PENCIL! A PENCIL YA HERE ME!!!!

And I bet there was no such thing as mechanical pencils......

MBA - University of Texas, Austin, 1997

Very analytical, competitive, detail oriented, time-consuming program. May be harder than other programs because of its Top 20 ranking…

GMAT – not too difficult. I took a prep class and did well

The Payoff is worth the investment - Just don't tell MattTheSkywalker that
