Anyone have Roadrunner?

I have a dilemma here. I am sick of using this piece of shit 56k modem. So I am considering ordering roadrunner. Thing is, when I moved into my apartment I noticed that there was a little piece of coaxial cable above my apartment door. (where the last person must have had their cable wired through) So I went to the store and bought some more coaxial cable, etc. And wired it up all the way to my tv to test if there was a cable signal. And to my surprise they never turned off the previous tenants cable service! But, now if I order roadrunner, won't they find out im getting cable for free and shut it off?

I would rather have cable tv than fast internet. But I want both dammit! What can I do?

Yes they will find out that you are getting free cable.

See if DSL is available in your area.

bro..i disagree..i have had both...dsl does not compare as far as speed goes..i have cable now from roadrunner and i love it..lightnight fast and i have been disconnected once. ..i think you could possible get away with it..the roadrunner guys are usually young and dont give a shit, but anyway ..they probably wouldnt notice..they just split the cable and thats it.....
