Anyone gone to a funeral alone?

It will be weird I will know a couple people, an old acquintance from college.

I'm thinking that I'll stand in the back.

Is that acceptable?

I'd like to go but I don't want to go through the whole process...

ive never gone to a funeral alone but i have paid my respects at the funeral home to a lady i worked with a long time ago

I haven't. But I have seen others do it. When my grandmother died several people showed up alone, usually they were unmarried elderly people and noone seemed to care.

Yep, my first time last April. I am very secure person and do lots alone, but that was weird walking into a room of ppl I did not know.
You just walk in, say hello and pay your respects, then leave! It's all good!

I haven't been to lots of funeral, less than 10, but I always had someone there that I knew. Plenty of people come alone to them, and no one thinks a thing of it.

I crash them sometimes. Great way to get chics. Grief is natures most powerful aphrodisiac.
