Anyone get the flu after getting the flu shot?

I'm dying here, but I didn't get the shot this year.

I had the flu for a full week in November (my god, that was worse than anything else I have ever experienced). 3 weeks later, I had the same aches, headache, for about 2 days. It wasn't as bad and I was able to work.

I haven't caught the flu after getting the shot, but I felt bad for one evening.

It's a worthy trade off. I'm getting the shot for now on.

I was never much of a believer in the flu shot, but having tried it for the first time this year, I can already tell the difference.

Then again, I'm one of those types who always gets sick, so for me, it's been excellent.

FZ needs like 85 flu shots. He's a walking petri dish.

I got the flu shot in Nov. and haven't come down with the flu so far. I do have a cold now but at least it's not the flu. This is the first time I got the shot...my daughter got one too.
